Dale Plumbing sent over Bob to help with a host of issues at our house. One word: awesome! Bob knows his stuff, is courteous, friendly, has a great laugh, and gets the job done. Nothing but praise. Truth be told, I found myself wondering when something would break again so that I could meet Bob again until I scratched myself on the head and told myself I was crazy in wishing another plumbing emergency upon myself. So I turned to Yelp to help others who might have one! Call Dale. Ask for Bob.

Ok, so it so happened that the ""problem"" was really quite minor. Nonetheless, Harry was on time and very nice and helpful and informative. I would definitely call Dale Plumbing and Harry any time.

Emergency service need (sewer line blockage), quick response, good communication, speedy problem resolution, free advice and folk wisdom. Reasonable charge. Harry was the right guy at the right time.

Not sure why there is such a wide range of reviews. I had a great experience with Eric and James. I had a cracked pipe leaking, they came right away and got it fixed, diagnosed the larger problem of mixed copper/cast iron (many years old from before I bought the house) degradation. I asked for an estimate to re-pipe. Completely reasonable and when it turned out that there was actually less work to do than anticipated, they told me and adjusted the bill. I would have had no idea if they did not tell me and they could have billed the entire amount. HUGE credit to them for being really honest and fair. The team was excellent, the work was solid, and I am very happy.

I've used Dale Plumbing twice now (with another job to follow). The latest was my trenchless sewer repair. They gave me a free estimate and I scheduled the work ASAP. James arrived exactly on time (loved that!) and was friendly and courteous.

He got right to work and although it was trenchless, I expected a mess in my back yard. This was not the case! In fact, I was completely impressed with how perfectly the two digging areas (they have to dig only two holes) were put back together. One side is a little hill area in my yard of which I am particularly fond, but it looked perfect!

Each night, I got a status call, as the process takes a few days. That was very welcome.

There was no mess left behind in any form, and it is a HUGE relief to know my problem was fixed and done properly.

I absolutely recommend Dale Plumbing.

Oh - and the first job was for a clogged pipe, which they worked very diligently to fix. Once again, this crew was prompt and Eric & Harry were super nice guys who were very careful not to leave behind a mess. I appreciated that very much!

Please use our local businesses and not the big Roto Rooter outfits who overcharge and don't care about building relationships. I know Dale Plumbing wants your repeat business.

A big shout out to Dale Plumbing. Harry was our plumber - he was always on time, very friendly, and very thorough in his work. He was here for the permit inspection and worked very well with the inspector. His work passed with flying colors. The office manager was always very helpful and polite.

So, I just moved to San Bruno from San Jose and needed a new gas line put in from the meter. Since this is not something to be taken lightly, especially in San Bruno, I bid out the work to multiple local plumbers. Dale Plumbing was the most prompt of the three companies that I had come out. One company, who I won't mention here, did not even show up for the estimate appointment and never called back.

James, the foreman, showed up and came up with a solid plan to route the line where it needed to go. Their price was firm yet fair. He assigned Harry and Marlon to the job. They showed up and completed the work promptly and professionally. During testing and inspection, the new gas line they put in held pressure well beyond spec, 30 minutes with no leakage. Once finished, the two left the job site in a cleaner state than they found it.

I can't assess their ability to come in and promptly fix 'sudden plumbing emergencies.' However, their ability to complete scheduled work on time, to code, without going over time is excellent. I would recommend them for any of your scheduled plumbing needs.

Found a special for this firm on Angies List and they had ok ratings.
I have problem with the toilet when it flushes it makes a foghorn sound throughout the house.
the plumber who came was late, not very professional, said he did not know how to fix the problem and since we prepaid for a deal on Angies list we had him change two washers.
I would not call them again.

I called this place because Doug Behr (Behr Plumbing) was recommended to me. I called the number and made an appointment for Doug to come out and look at my gas fireplace. Their first available appointment was in 9 days. I called to confirm the day of the appointment and was told that Doug Behr was retired, but Eric and Doug would come out and look at my fireplace. Doug Behr was great. He was willing to retrofit the existing fireplace for about $2000. I said great. Eric said he had to check with the new owner. I was shocked when I was asked to pay $125. for the visit. No one informed me of this beforehand. I complained, but paid it because the invoice stated that Dale Plumbing would supply us with a written estimate of repairs needed. I called this outfit starting the next day, and for the next three days and said I wanted the work done as soon as possible. I was met with a rude secretary (Lauren) who put me on hold every time I called. I was assured that the estimate was coming and I would hear from them soon. I never heard from them again. While Doug Behr must have been great, Dale Plumbing is NOT! Do not use this outfit! They stole my money and gave me NOTHING In return. The diagnosis of my problem was a broken valve. I told them that on the phone when I made the appointment. HORRIBLE OUTFIT! Save yourself time, money and trouble and go elsewhere!
