My niece was rear ended by one of their employees (Jordan was the name on his work shirt). He got out of his truck telling her to drive off he would take care of it. When my niece refused to leave he hit her in the face, got in his truck & drove off. If they employ people like this I'd rather not use their service.

Came out to fix leaky shower faucet with new cups, springs and stem and repair leaking outside frost proof faucet. Had to go back to shop for parts for the outside faucet. Returned with coworker to finish the outside faucet. However did not secure the faucet to the wall. Called next morning to have them finish the outside installation. Did come the next day and secured the faucet. Total charge $378......

Extremely disappointed in their service. We found out we were way over charged for services and now we can't get a call back from their service manager Bryan who would be the one to rectify the situation. He continues to be ""out of town"". They charged $69 per pound of Freon, ASAP only charges $13 per pound of Freon.. this is a massive difference ($391) and we are extremely frustrated. We have also tried to call Lee with no answer or returned call. Don't use them if you want a trustworthy company.

Update: Bryan called back this morning after leaving this review. Bryan was combative and did nothing to rectify the situation. He mentioned this review and wasn't happy about it. I still would not recommend using them as their customer service is very poor.

I contacted Dale and Lee to fix my tankless hot water heater. The pilot light would not stay lit. The technicial finally called back, told my wife over the phone he knows just what the problem is (without ever coming to have a look). Told my wife we needed a new unit and the total cost would be $2,700.
Finally found a real plumber. Came to the house today and had it working in 10 minutes. Changed out a fuse and adjusted the fuel line feed to the pilot light.
Becareful dealing with Dale and Lee.

Had our new range, and vent hood. Installed. First guy came in. Took old range. And vent hood out. Tried to install vent hood. Said he couldn't do it. So he installed the range. Left. A hole in the top. Wires hanging. They said another guy. Would be out to install the vent hood. On Friday, no show. Called them the next week. They sent 3 guys, to install a vent hood. After they were gone, found a dent in the top of our new range. Now waiting for someone to come look at it. Don't know what standard price is to install a range. And vent hood. But over, $300, seemed a little high. And then have a dent on the range.

I called Dale & Leesto come out and see why my AC was not cooling. The tech came out and charged the system and put a dye in to help locate the leak. The tech charged me $ 369.94 Dollars, and told me it would last until spring. And to call them in spring and they would come out and locate the leak. To make a long story short it only lasted 6 days.
I called and another tech came out and charged me $ 44,00 dollars to locate the leak in the coil.
The coil was under warranty so a week later (1) tech came out and in less than 2 hours had the coil replaced. and charged me $681,00 Dollars for less than 2 hours labor. And another $ 507.78 Dollars for Freon. I asked the tech why I was being charged for Freon again and he told me he was told to charge me, Long story short I was charges over $400,00 dollars just to tell me my coil was leaking. and another $1,118.78 to fix a job that took less than 2 hours. For a total cost of $ 1,532.72
I will not be using Dale & Lees Heat and air in the future

I would recommend Dale and Lee's to everyone for commercial and residential. Very responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and reasonable. We utilize them for both residential and commercial and are glad we switched. Doug is an awesome service man and Brent is great to work with on quoting. A+ company.

We have called Dale and Lee at four times since 2016 regarding our unit. It finally went out and we called them yesterday. The employee came out for all of a few minutes to tell us what we already knew: it wasn't working before telling us we would need a new unit ($2000). He then said he would call first thing today to discuss new units. Before leaving, he said we owed him $130 for the service of coming out for a few minutes and doing nothing.

What?

I completely understand it was a Sunday, but it leaves a bad taste in one's mouth to be nickeled and dimed for the three minutes of ""time"" at a whopping $130 that consisted of no work. Of course, eager to sell something, they call the next day literally first thing. I ask for my money back and they tell me they will refund the $130 fee the charged to do nothing if I buy a brand new unit for them. We were loyal customers over several years, of course we were going to buy the new unit from you. But to be a repeat customer and have that $130 held hostage on the condition that it will be written off only if I make you more money by investing in your company for an expensive new unit is bad business and not how you treat loyal customers.

I posted a complaint to Facebook and these guys retaliated by posting their GPS records listed on a company record to my address online, identifying where I live. I asked them to take it down and they refused. Disgusting and unprofessional. If you called into their store and asked to see their GPS logs for work they just did at a random customer's home do you think they would disclose that? Of course they wouldn't. But when a loyal customer writes a a bad review, they retaliate and disclose identifying private records to the world. What kind of business does that? I asked the owner, Brent DeBoer, to remove my private information over the telephone and he said only if I remove my bad review first, using the same flawed logic as requiring someone to buy an expensive unit before they'll refund you a cost they know to be bogus (or else they wouldn't offer to refund it at all if it is truly honest ""work"")

I would suggest taking a close look at other recent bad reviews here on Yelp and on Google and Facebook before calling this place.

Unprofessional.

I just had Dale & Lee's in for a service call on my downstairs heater unit.
Billy (the tech) was on time, friendly and diagnosed the problem almost immediately.
The price was upfront and published in a service manual that the tech showed me. The work was done quickly, and professionally, with the tech explaining what he was doing and how things worked.

Not sure what the other reviewers here found lacking in D&L's service, but speaking for myself, I was favorably impressed, and would not hesitate to call them again next time I need them.

After knowing what I now know, I would never recommend this company to anybody. I was lied to by Dale and Lee's and then charged by the hour for it. I bought my two story home (w/ two outside units) in 2014. For 4 years straight, the unit would freeze up every spring, which for the first year I can only blame on the previous owners. The only thing I could afford to do was refill the coolant, and carry on from year to year for 4 straight years. (I had gone back to school full time and wasn't working, so it seemed the easiest and cheapest short term solution.) Fast forward to spring 2018, I finally broke down and had a leak check performed by Dale and Lee's. Was told by a Dale and Lee's technician that it was leaking in the condenser coil, for which I was charged an hourly rate (approx. $40) to search for the leak. Was then told by technician that the only way to fix the problem was to totally replace the condenser coil and was quoted a price of $2200 (parts and labor). The price seemed steep, so luckily I turned down the repair. However, I decided to get a second opinion and have another leak check performed by a different, more reputable local company who did in fact check everything up and down, and inside and out. Would you believe they never found the leak where Dale and Lee's said it was at??!! The leak was found on the outside, upstairs unit at the refill/check valve. The cap, a $.5 part, wasn't screwed on tight, and the seal on the cap was dried out. This should have been a no-brainer for Dale and Lee's technician to check this first, where he would have quickly discovered the problem. The second company confirmed that this was in fact the only place where the leak was occurring, immediately setting off their meter. To summarize, Dale and Lee's was going to rob me of $2200 (parts and labor) to replace a component that wasn't even damaged/compromised, while totally overlooking the outside valve which would have been a very easy, cheap, and honest fix. It's also plausible that they knew the whole time that cap was loose, and knew I would be a regular service call generating annual income. Unskilled at the very least, but it is now much more apparent that they were likely raking me over the coals...avoid them like the plague.
