I had to do this backflow maintenance every year, the city would mail me a letter and form requesting to complete backflow service. The company I used in the past year is no long in service. Went down the list provided by the city, called Dakota backflow, it was advertise on our list that they are in Arcadia, but it turn out they are from Rancho Cucamonga. I feel that this is false advertising because I wouldn't have choose a company that is out of my area, the home to be service is in Monterey Park. They ask for payment up front, but appt wasn't yet confirm, but they did said should be Wednesday will go out which was three days from my phone call, that was odd, previous company completed the job then charge me. They already charged my CC, but didn't go on Wednesday, they eventually went few days later. I feel that they must had try to schedule everyone else in along the route. And they didn't email me the complete invoice or the completed forms after the work. Then I had to call them again to find out if they went and serviced the home. I feel this whole process was not smooth and inappropriately handled by them. I would not use their service again.

I will not recommend this company. They have a horrible communication skill, badly in time manner, and bad service. I scheduled the service about 1 and a half month before the due date and reminded them almost every week to confirm. They did not answer and had the technician showed up suddenly. Then to the repair part. I had to remind them the due date, remind them check with the water county district and also for sending the report!! I'm their assistant instead of their customer!!

I've used this company for Backflow testing for the last 10 years...they don't come out quickly but they usually get there before the test is due. This is the first year that they completely dropped the ball. They said someone would come out in week or two. Two weeks transpired and no one came out. Finally got an appointment and i emailed to confirm someone had come out. Called, emailed again... no response. Finally a week later someone emails back saying no one has inspected the device yet. It was due last week. Called Alhambra Backflow and they said someone would come out the next day. Will never use Dakota again.

Didn't even get to use their services after they strung me along for almost a month claiming that they would get to me at the end of the week. Horrible communication skills and badly run business. No one seemed to know who was scheduling what when. Would not recommend if you need service in a timely manner.
