I've had Dailey out to work on my house again, this time installing ethernet cables between rooms. Their work was professional and clean. The faceplates/drops are well positioned on the walls, and the cabling runs through the attic in such a way that it isn't likely to get accidentally damaged. Their pricing feels a bit high, but I haven't been shopping around because I know they do good work.

Half of our home was without electricity on Memorial weekend. We called 3 companies and unfortunately for us, Dailey was the only one to call back. We explained over the telephone in very clear detail what was happening. The tech who we spoke with had a very clear idea of what the issue was, suspecting it was a city issue that was effecting our home. He Insisted in coming out to check anyways. When he arrived, my first concern was cost And we discussed that with him. He walked to our back yard, used his tool to confirm it was on the city side, all which took less than 5 minutes. I asked him what city Department I should call, and he insisted he'd call since he had a direct contact. While he was doing that, I googled a phone number and called myself. It was the same number he had. I left a voicemail and was contacted by the city with 10 mins. This Dailey tech insisted he stay until the city showed up. We told him it wasn't needed and that he could leave. He sparked conversation clearly intending to eat at the clock, and seeing what he was doing, I asked him to discuss the bill so he could leave. This guy tried absolutely everything to justify how he was about to charge us for a level one, and level two service....which essentially meant our bill was about to DOUBLE since HE insisted on staying until the city showed up. We asked him what the payment protocol was when the issue was on the city side. He said we needed to pay him, then to make a claim with the city and we would reimbursed. Still having to pay was upsetting since he knew even on the phone what the issue was. Ethically, he could have told us to call the city first....and to only call him back if the city determined it was our responsibility to fix.

I disputed the charge, he wouldn't budge, I told him he did 5 mins worth of work so charging us extra was unjustified, he continued to make small talk with my husband, and I was so livid at that point that I had to walk outside. The city showed up shortly after, and For another 30 minutes, this guy hung around lingering.....even after the city workers repeatedly told him they didn't want or need him there. he was overheard on the telephone while sitting In his truck talking to someone else, that he was about to charge us $495 for the call. They went back and forth and settled on $195. this whole time, I'm thinking that we will be reimbursed, so it would work itself out.
Two days later, we contacted the city and they referred us to their insurance claim department. We wrote up an online summary of what had happened and why we were seeking reimbursement, and submitted the claim. It was ultimately denied a few weeks later.

So now, we are out $200 from an unethical electrician who knew he was scamming us from the first time we spoke on the phone. I would never in my life recommend this company based on this one tech.

The guys who came out were very professional and thoroughly knowledgeable. They worked quickly and did what I needed. Despite that, I don't think I'll call them again. They have a new pricing scheme. You tell them what kind of problem(s) you're having. Before they do anything to access the cause of the problem (they aren't even supposed to touch anything), they look at a pricing sheet and estimate how much work will be required. If the problem is simpler/quicker to fix than they thought, you still pay the estimate. I had several problems that needed work and two of them turned out to be very simple fixes even though that wasn't immediately obvious. I ended up paying a very high hourly rate. The work and the workers were excellent but the pricing scheme certainly put me off. I'll look elsewhere next time I need an electrician.

Had them out over the years. Finally, changing. They would send an electrician with a helper (who would do nothing) and charge a rate for both the electrician and the helper. The electricians would sometimes ignore your requests and do it the way they thought was best (like point an outdoor light in a direction other than where you want it). Also, felt taken advantage of with regard to charging and quality of the job and listening to what I wanted.

I am a 100% disabled Veteran and unable to use a ladder. My light over the front porch burned out and I needed someone to change the bulb. I used Dailey before so I called them out to help. I should have asked before hand the cost. After the electrician changed the bulb and gotten off the ladder I asked how much. He charged my $60 to simply change the bulb. This happened a few months ago and I was not a Yelp member then. I didn't expect a freebie and certainly no one owes me anything but, $60 to change a light bulb is gouging and taking advantage of a Disabled Veteran. Be Sure to ask UP FRONT What They Are Going to Charge YOU! BEWARE!

These guys are fantastic!! First off, they showed up exactly when they said they would. I had a team of two guys handling various repairs at my house. They went right to it and finished up in no time. But best of all, the bill was very low. And I mean, really low.
