Recommended Customer Reviews

Extremely knowledgeable staff at Dahl in Avon. We do business with Dahl often and have always been impressed by their courteous customer service on both sides of the shop.
The sales side is extremely clean and well managed. They always anwser my questions truthfully and offer numerous options for my clients.
The plumbing side couldn't be better. The employees enjoy what they do, and take pride in helping with any questions ""do it yourself"" people need to know. They seem to have a good relationship with their local plumbers as well.
Over all this shop is great, and I would recommend you stop by if in need of fixtures or plumbing material.

The sales people are very rude and unhelpful. I was in the show room for about ten minutes being ignored. I'll 100% be using someone in Denver who knows the value of customer service.

If you want to pay too much for your bathroom fixtures and interact with snooty sales people who have no sincere interest in helping you, this is your place. A few years from now it will be these boneheads whining that internet sales from other suppliers eroded half their business.
We ordered a bath tub from them that came in filthy dirty and turned out to be the wrong part number (it was a left hand tub rather than a right hand one). They refunded my deposit except for $38.00 that they described as the cost to ship the tub back to their supplier. I thought that was unfair because it was their mistake in receiving the wrong part, not ours.
We still need to buy the bathtub as well as the rest of the fixtures for our new house. None will be purchased from Dahl in Avon.

Went to order a Kohler ""drop in"" sink from Dahl. I knew the model I needed as I had previously ordered the same one online through Amazon but had to return it due to a defect where the front lip was bowed to the point that it would leave a gap between the sink lip and my granite countertop. The employees were friendly enough, they ordered the sink and said it should arrive within two weeks and they would call me when it came in. 3 weeks go by, no call. I call and ask the status and they say, ""it's here you can come pick it up"". They called back a few minutes later and said, ""never mind, don't come in, the sink that came in was damaged so they had to reorder."" OK, I said, when will the next one arrive? ""I don't know, let me get a tracking number and I will call you back in a little while."" That was on a Friday. No call back. On Monday I call and leave a voicemail, asking for a callback with an update. No call back. On Wednesday I call and was told that ""your sink is here, but I see that your order has been cancelled."" I inform them that this is not correct and I would come by and look at the sink. When I arrive at the store, I give them my name and say I'm here for a sink I ordered. The first employee says, ""uh-huh?"" and just looks at me. Another employee takes over and takes me to the storage area where my sink was. I ask to inspect the sink before taking it as it might have the same manufacturer's defect. It does. The front lip is bowed to the point that it would not lay flush on any countertop. I was told that ""I'm sure that is within Kohler's tolerance"". And then, this is my favorite, ""you know, most people don't have drop-in sinks."" First of all, that is ridiculous, and second, how is that helpful? If you go to the doctor for back pain, would it make sense for the doctor to say, ""you know, most people don't have back pain."".
To be clear, I'm not blaming Dahl for the product defect. That is clearly not their fault. I fault them for having no basic customer service skills whatsoever.
This company does not call you to let you know your order is in. They don't call to tell you that your item is damaged and they don't return calls after leaving multiple, very simple voicemails. Take your business elsewhere.
