D. Wood Plumbing was the best service I have ever received in over 40 years of living in Kalamazoo. He answered my phone call immediately, came to my house the same day to determine what we needed, returned the same day and installed a new water heater, removed the old one and took it away. I will never use any other plumber when needed. Price was right and he stands by the quality of the product he recommeded. By the way he is a Master Plumber and i would call him a Master, master plumber. The BEST!

Dan responded to our request fairly quickly. We had a shower faucet cartridge that was leaking and unable to be removed. Dan was very personable and explained the problem and was able to repair it for a reasonable cost. Will call him again for future plumbing issues. Highly recommend his services.

Dan was top notch from the estimate, through the job, to follow-up. His price was fair and Dan provided options, pros and cons, and recommendations. From the time I reached out to Dan for estimates to the time he removed our old hot water heater and installed a new tankless hot water with a recirculating line was 1 week! Amazing when other plumbers were saying a month or more before they could begin the project ... If they responded!

Dan's work not only functions perfect and looks great, he left the area cleaner than when he arrived.

I had a new refrigerator delivered and my downstairs shutoff valve's handle had broken off and was unusable so the install could not complete. I needed a plumber quickly and called Dan. He made time that same day to come over and not only installed a new valve, but removed my old copper tubing and installed more modern tubing. When the appliance installer came back to fully install the new refrigerator it was still not what they wanted, but installed and left the water line off. Dan then came back the next day and ensured that line was correctly installed without leaks or any other issues. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk with.

Highly recommended. Dan will my first call in the future for any plumbing needs.

We discovered our water heater was leaking on Saturday, called another company and was quoted a crazy price for a replacement. Dan responded to our message looking for additional quotes quickly and fit us into his schedule ASAP. Super nice guy, shared his knowledge with us (new homeowners) and was very up-front about his pricing and options. He even went above and beyond with the installation and set us up better for accessing and repairing the water heater in the future, if necessary. Would recommend. Thanks Dan!

D. Wood came out to repair a cracked water line on a Saturday afternoon. He was responsive, professional, and polite. I will definitely use him again.

Serviceman came on April 30th to stop a leak from a pipe connected to the washer. After 4 hours-with him mostly talking-he left-charging over $500.00.
I tried to use the washer & had water all over. Called again on Monday & they sent the same serviceman out on Tuesday. He thought the leak was fixed-wrong. Instead of calling Dan Wood again I called another plumber. Trevor was here for less than 2 hours-which included running to get parts-the leak was fixed. His fee-$120.00. We let Dan Wood know how dissatisfied we were & got no reply from them. If I could give the a -* I would. ;-(
