I highly recommend D&W Mechanical! I awoke to no heat in sub zero temperatures. I called them explaining my issue and they had someone dispatched to my home within hours. The mechanic was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He had the problem resolved quickly and efficiently and even offered to reignite my fire place for me. This is the company I will use from here on out.

We have had D & W put in a furnace, water softener, hot water heater, and multiple other plumbing changes. They are always professional, on time, easy to work with and their work area is usually cleaner than when they found it. Another reviewer blasted them because they didn't want to do a water softener. The person who complained about being redirected to Culligan should thank them because they, like most Traverse City businesses, have problems getting skilled help. D & W only has one person who does water softeners because of the lack of skilled resources. They were probably doing the review a favor by aiming them at Culligans - a business that specializes in water softeners - because it might have taken a long time to work the reviewer into a queue.

We need a new water conditioner and other plumbing needs, we called them yesterday and they referred us to Culligan! No reasons given like they were booked up and didn't even ask us what our problem was. So if you want good or any customer service call some other company.

Horrible experience! System installed incorrectly and took no ownership of the project. Blamed the customer for not telling them exactly what to do thus inferring the customer is the expert in HVAC. Except for a few employees, incompetent service.
