I just used this place from a business to a business and they worked out great with me. Had to install a brand new Water Heater because the one I had just stopped working and I didn't want to keep applying bandages to it.
The service person, that came to my house in Westland was very professional and installed it in a timely manner. His name is James. He didn't take a break for almost 3 straight hours. Thank you again!

I had a bad experience with this company, they are on a list to service Rheem water heaters and they got the approval to change my water heater, they came to my house on Friday and took my water heater out, they put it in their truck and went to replace it at Home Depot and when they returned they brought the old water heater in the basement and told me they couldn't get one and it was an online order only, they told me that I should over night one and they will come back after Christmas and install it on Tuesday (5 days later) I called the company and they said that Rheem was closed for the holiday and they will contact me after they talk to Rheem. I called Rheem and they were not closed and they told me where to go pick the water heater up, I called the Home Depot that Rheem told me the water heater was available and was told that they had 7 in stock and they would pull one off the shelf and get it ready to be picked up, I then called Dwg back and told them that the water heater was ready to be picked up and Dwg wanted me to pay them $400.00 to go pick it up and come back so I went and got the water heater myself and brought it back to the house, when I got back home I called Dwg and asked if they were going to send their guys back to install it and was told that they will need to talk to Rheem after the holiday about the extra charge to come back so I called another company to install it the next day. They were willing to leave me with no hot water for 5 days and the water lines were leaking water all over the floor because they took the water heater out and left it out.

These guys are contracted by our warranty on our hot water heater. First they told us to order the parts. We ordered the parts DWG said if the parts come in by 12noon on Tuesday they could fix it on that day and the part came to my house on Tues at 10:45am I called I was told if some one cancels nobody came out. On Weds DWG was supposed to come replace the parts to my not even 2 yr old hot water heater first I was told the work order is out I couldn't get an exact or estimated time a plumber would be here called 4ore times my wife called then we were told that they messed up on their end that they put in the computer to cancel the order so they were not going to come replace the parts then the plumber get there and our exhaust was hooked up wrong he told us to fix it then call DWG and they would come install the parts it was professionally changed and now they refuse to fix out hot water heater that they are contracted to fix.

They put in my water heater and made sure everything was up to code. Stayed late to make sure everything was complete in one day.

DWG came through due to using Home Depot to install my hot water tank. The day I went to Home Depot DWG came out that afternoon & installed my hot water tank!!! They did a great job and I would use them again.

I CANNOT say enough about this company!! I purchased a new water heater recently and have had nothing but manufacturer defect issues. I have had DWG out to my house a half a dozen times over the last couple of weeks. Each time these gentleman were polite, thorough, and went above and beyond what I could have expected! Cole was very helpful in explaining the issues in depth for us to better understand what parts were failing and why. On another occasion, Tyler was able to get in contact with the manufacturer and get our parts ordered so we could get back to having hot water quickly. Ian is new to the crew and was very involved in learning the process and procedures of getting the new parts installed. Eventually, all 3 of these gentleman were able to determine collectively that the unit was faulty and we were able to exchange it. They installed the new one without a hitch! I have never used DWG before. I was sent to them because they are partnered with the manufacturer of the water heater. DWG has a new customer for life! I am EXTREMELY impressed with the professionalism, thoroughness, and care that each of these guys took to make sure they got us up and running multiple times, some even last minute! THANK YOU COLE, TYLER, AND IAN!!

Dan was extremely courteous and attentive on the phone. I got a call the day I submitted my warranty claim, and they had a guy out the next day to warranty replace my rheem water heater. Tyler and Dan were both very helpful and knowledgable.. not sure why all the negative reviews. I would gladly use DWG again

Very bad experience. I bought a new water heater. The pilot wouldn't light. I then called the tech support 800 # on the tank. They mailed a new part & sent DWG out, per the warranty agreement. The 2 service techs took 2 hours to install the new part. When it was all said & done the pilot still would not light.
Now, if they'd told me that it was just dumb luck & the tank was bad, that would be one thing. But they said my gas pressure was too low & I needed to call DTE - 4 days later DTE tells me the pressure is fine & within tolerance of the tank.
I call the 800 service number again and they agreed to exchange the tank. They send out the same 2 bozos out to install the new one. They get the new one in place but also get water all over the basement floor - telling me ""oh there's a 'little water' that spilled'. A shop-vac, a fan, several towels, & 48 hrs later, it's all dry
They also claim that the heat vacuum is too low & offer to replace the 3"" pipe with 4"", for $500. I was 11 days with no hot water because of these yahoos.

Dan the owner is a child. Very unprofessional, doesn't know shit about customer service. I called them frustrated about an issue that has been going on for sometime at my condo. The only reason why I'm doing business with this shitty company because it was assigned through my issuance. Dan doesn't know how to conduct himself in conversation, and of-course his techs are apologizing on behalf but fuck that prick. He got offensive once I start asking for the company info knowing I was going to do review so He Hung Up On Me like the little bitch he is.. Wow.. People spend your money somewhere if you have that option.
