Wouldn't recommend this company !!!! They came to replace a water heater no leaking of water just figure after 10 yr it was time to replace . After they left water leaking from a valve they returned next day told me impossible they had nothing to do with the water leak offer me $450 to fix it . I called Len the plumber to fix the problem what I should had done first . Bad business ! Home Depot do better recommending companies .

We used D W Bahr to replace our old water heater. They were able to provide service within a reasonable time, the folks that performed the labor were pleasant and friendly. The job was completed in short order and instructions on care and maintenance were also offered. No changes in prices or no trying to up sell me. From beginning to end it was as pleasant as could be when faced with an unexpected event. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend.

The worst. I had these guys install a water heater for me based on positive reviews. Fast forward a couple years the unit is leaking and not working. Had two other companies come out bc needed service right away. Was told by both that unit was improperly installed causing the leaks. Called Bahr and explained the situation. They didn't even want to come out for two weeks to even look at it. I threw a fit so they came out took pictures. Didn't even call me to review. I called them and was told this just happens and they're not at fault and won't help. Awful workmanship and awful customer service. Save your time and money.

This is the first I've heard of this company but installed my new hot water heater purchased through Home Depot.

This company did an awesome job. Showed up on time and the presentation was very professional.

I will definitely keep this company in mind for future plumbing needs.

Really impressed by the work they did for me. Called them through Home Depot at 1030 to replace an old water heater. They were here at noon and finished by 1:15 pm. Justin and Shawn were very professional and jumped right in to do the work and explain what they were doing the whole time.

Wonderful company. Had a water heater installed. Needed some extra work for it to meet code and more importantly to make it safer for my family. The crew, Scott, Mason and Walt were great. Very professional and courteous. They cared about my property and were careful moving things in and out. I recommend calling them if you need work done.

Installation team arrived early in their time frame and worked around all the quirks of our basement without a problem. Water heater (purchased via Home Depot) installed, checked, everything in less than two hours. Fantastic work, friendly experts.

Called for service, when I joint they soldered on install started to spray water all over the basement. Unfortunately, this was not noticed in time to prevent damage. Landlord Called service number, on call person said they would be out in the morning, I had to take an unpaid day off. But since I have no hot water, and a flooded basement to clean what choice did I have. I took the day off and waited. Mid-Morning, I get a call the company informing a plumber will be out tomorrow between 9 and 12.

"" Sorry, that's the best we can do""
""Your on call guy told me..""
""Our on guy cannot and should not have told you that""
""This is an emergency, I have no water, unpaid day off maybe your guy should have come out last night""

I'm usually a polite person, I try to be but this is beyond insane, and I lost it. But was told I'll see what we can do, put on hold a few times, and still sorry tomorrow. Now I have to take a second day off, unpaid, and wait.
I was then told I will have to call you back. No call back, and yet here I wait.
A call back to their office yielded no more than we'll be there tomorrow, I'm sorry this is your ""poor"" instillation work and your telling me your sorry and have to wait two days. So what choice to I have then to sit here and wait.
To me if you have a 24-hour service number, and I have a ""situation"" you came out and fix it, especially when one it's still under warranty and two it's your poor instillation that caused it.
Run from these guys, that's all I can say.

Could not have asked for more! I was in need of a new water heater when mine decided to go out one Saturday afternoon. I called a few places and either no one was available or they wanted $3000 for the job. I learned the job could be done through Home Depot who contracts out to D.W. Bahr Plumbing. They gave me a quote over the phone that was significantly less than half of Michael and Son's $3000 quote. The plumber showed up on time and began right away. He was able to determine exactly what was needed and what needed replacing and was done in about 1.5 hours. He replaced the entire water heater, added a few parts and replaced many valves and fittings so I can pass the city inspection. They ultimately honored the original quote and I could not ask for more. If you are in need of a new water heater this is the company to call. No one in Baltimore is doing a better job than these guys! Highly recommend and plan to use for any future plumbing needs.
