I contacted D Star plumbing from a mommy group that recommended this company. I spoke to Dan (owner) about a shower drain that was pooling and draining slowly. He said to text my address and he can have one of his guys come by the next morning. The technician, maybe licensed plumber, we don't know, we never asked for his credentials came out the next day and snaked our drain and cleared it out, took no longer than 15 minutes to do the job. We were charged $189! I called Dan and asked why the price was so outrageous just to clear a drain and he said his pricing is $189 for the first half hour. And also overhead cost of running a business. He never told me when I was on the phone nor mentioned this on the text message about pricing or service charges. He said it's because I never asked. Dan offered to take off $40 of the bill but we had already paid and told him I will not use his company again and will not be recommending anyone to this company.

I do not recommend this company based on the owner not being upfront with customers about pricing and service charge. The owner expects that you ask these questions otherwise you will be very surprised like we were.

We love small businesses and support small businesses and a lot of small businesses are great to work with but unfortunately not this one.
