this guy is one of my neighbors from Angola by the Bay and he was in the process of moving out of the neighborhood today...his dog got loose and tried to attack mine as we were on a walk. after a few good kicks to keep his out I'll at bay he came and restrained him without so much as a sorry. my phone incidentally went flying in the melee and cracked the screen a bit so I went by to see if he wanted to make things right? he told me to go F myself. I came back to take a picture of his license plate and he shoved me and completely destroyed my front screen. he threatened to ""slit my throat"" and warned me that I didn't know who I was messing with. this guy is a complete lunatic and I wouldn't let him within 1000 ft. of my place.

I do not recommend D. Russell Home Repairs.
Although he advertises himself on his truck and on his Facebook page as a plumber, he is not licensed with the state of Delaware as a plumber. He also does not have a state of Delaware contractors License. The only license in the city does have is a division of revenue business license, which is strictly a tax license. It does not show that you're qualified to be in the profession you are in. I had him come because I had no water from my well. He came out looked at it. Give me a price of $250-$300, But when it came time to pay him the price, he jumped up to $600 and two hours after he left I had no water again. His solution was to dig up my front yard from my house to my well, thankfully, I had someone else come out and look at it, and that was not necessary and they corrected the problem in about an hour. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

We had D. Russell Home Repairs out this morning to repair our garbage disposal. He was able to restart it but as it was loud and the grinding blades were chipped and worn, recommending replacing which we had done. He and Carol were here when the said the would be and worked efficiently and were very neat. He explained everything and made sure all was working properly. Would not hesitate to recommend him! Not really knowing anyone here, I rolled the dice and called D. Russell Home Repairs to get a hose bib replaced and an estimate to reroute some water lines. Damien came out the next day and made quick work of both jobs.

Excellent work, good prices, and beautiful work. Damien is a real craftsman who takes pride in his work. I highly recommend his work. Making a list of some other projects I want to run by him.

My only regret? He came out so fast I didn't have time to tidy up my nasty bathroom.

Damien answered the call when I needed someone to take on the relatively small job of recalking a shower stall and tub-shower--a task I am not able to complete myself. Communication went very well and he did an excellent job for what I thought was a reasonable fee. I would gladly recommend D. Russell Home Repairs to anyone requiring handyman service.
