I just used them a couple weeks ago and they did a great job. I liked the upfront pricing. I just sent a photo of the issue and got a quote. So when you want an estimate for comparative shopping, you have it. Their pricing is reasonable. Then they came right out, knocked it out and was gone. You can't ask for better. I will use them again.

These are the people to work with if you have any kind of plumbing issue. My ordeal actually started when I asked the sprinkler guys to come replace a sprinkler they had just installed. They noticed a leak in my front yard where water was pooling out to the street (I admit, I'm a new homeowner and didn't know that a water puddle in the front of my yard when we've gone 40+ days without rain was a problem...). They dug a bit and then informed me it was not the sprinkler pipe but was an issue with the main water pipe to my house and that I needed a plumber.

After doing some research online, I found Josh and his team at D R Plumbing and called him. He was very responsive and able to send out his team the next day and immediately get down to business. While he was here, I showed him some other issues I was having in my house and he immediately put together a package deal for me. The issues at my house were, in my opinion, some pretty big plumbing issues, including a water heater replacement and the aforementioned leak with my main water pipe connection, but he and his team were able to take care of it all quickly and at a very reasonable price.

I can't recommend these guys enough. I definitely plan on using them again for any future plumbing needs, and you should, too.

Our outside faucet began to leak in the off position due to winter freeze Dallas experienced last winter. After googling multiple Plumbers we decided to use a local company (D R Plumbing of Flower Mound) that had what we thought was a good rating. I called Josh the owner of D R Plumbing and explained the situation with our outside faucet and he said he would send someone over in the next few days. Once the D R Plumber arrived he explained to us that the entire faucet from the stem forward needed to be replaced in order to stop the leak.The following day after faucet installation the new faucet began leaking from the stem. Called Josh explained the situation multiple times and each time he promised to come by personally to fix the new faucet leak. Never showed all 3 times he promised to come out to our house. After a month we finally gave up after the third promise to repair correctly what we paid for. My only guess is Josh installs inferior parts takes the repair money and moves on to the next customer.
I'm writing this to warn anyone who deals with Josh and his company (D R Plumbing) to steer clear. Josh comes across as a nice guy on the phone but doesn't want to do the right thing as a business man or Plumber.

I truly wish I could give them a good review I have read good things right here on Yelp about them but with three promises for three consecutive days that Josh would be out or have one of his people come out to look at our issue with our bathroom shower fixture And an outdoor frozen pipe repair no shows and no calls.

Had a leak in the kitchen faucet. DR was the only company to get back to me timely. Josh apologized he couldn't make it same day, but said if we could wait he'd have someone out the next day. Three calls later, no other local plumber could commit to anything short of two weeks. I told Josh to go ahead and schedule us and his crew showed up as promised. Took them about 15 minutes to figure out the pull out nozzle was lose and the leak was coming from there. Tightened it and showed my wife the leak had stopped. When we offered to pay, they said, "let us check". They said Josh agreed to no charge and just asked that if my wife decided to replace the faucet, we bring them back to install. Deal! Thanks, DR Plumbing.

Josh, was just an amazing nice guy! I'm a Flower Mound, residence and we had pipes burst inside our home during the worst winter icy snow storms in Texas, history! I made one phone call left a voice-message and Josh, returned my phone call within 5 minutes! I was so shocked at the level of service we received so quickly! Josh, was over 150 calls in but still managed to help me after I called for help.. Josh, was so willing to help I felt so blessed that Josh, was so close in my area at the right time! He arrived at my home within 20 minutes! Did not charge me anything for coming out and looking at the damage and giving his advice!! One day later Josh, returned to my home and repaired all my pipes! This was amazing customer service!! I will definitely recommend Josh, pluming to my family and friends!! Thank you, Josh great Job!!!!!

Josh was great! I called him yesterday and he apologized he couldn't get out there the same day but came first thing in the morning to get my disposal working again. He then looked at all my toilets because there was issues and fixed the only one that he could. He was fast, efficient and super nice. He didn't even charge me since he was here for only 10 minutes. I'll definitely be using him every time I need a plumber! I was very impressed

I wanted to relate my experience with DR Plumbing (and owner Josh). I found him to be dishonest and deceitful, AND he does homeowner-grade work, with Lowe's and Home Depot purchased parts, at Master Plumber prices. He began my job at a shockingly record pace, applying for a permit and marking my property for electric within a day, before we even had a contract. This led me to believe he was awesome. My guess is that he knows that, and that's part of his whole plan. AFTER he started my job, I found him to be unreliable, non-communicative, and non-responsive, and I found his work to be poor. I hired him because he was local, and I strongly prefer to hire local. (Based on my experience, I now suspect that perhaps he is NOT local. Not sure.) I have since read some reviews that said Josh was unreliable, but "a nice guy." FYI, I do NOT agree that he is "a nice guy," though I respect that others may see him that way. I also saw him that way at first. But he REALLY let me down, he lied to me too many times to count, and he did not keep his word time after time after time. I eventually had to eat the cost and pay a "real plumber" to come in and finish the job that Josh started. While the (very good) plumber I later hired to make up for Josh's shortcomings was tying into Josh's work, he pointed out all of the things Josh did poorly and all of the cheap homeowner-grade components Josh used at my home, on my water mainline, which a licensed plumber doesn't typically use. It was only then that I realized just how "taken" I was by the ("very nice") dishonest Josh. Buyer beware! Josh is a particularly bad choice BECAUSE he knows how to say all the right things ... while doing all the wrong things behind your back. He will come across as a very nice guy! And then he may very well let you down. He and his company caused three significant floods while on my property. He had one "family emergency" after the next (and he will likely have the same with you, based on other things I have heard and read). His unkept promises went on for a full month before I gave up and moved on to another provider. Josh will very likely respond to my review with more deceit and excuses. He and his company provided one VERY BAD and Very Expensive experience! There are lots of good choices out there. I strongly recommend you avoid this plumber.

I call DR plumbing for an outdoor faucet leak. I can't say enough good things. Communication was great, the work quality is excellent, the faucet no longer leaks and the price you can't beat. Great quality work from an honest company. I will call them again for future plumbing needs.
