I had an issue with my disposal and American Home Shield dispatched DNB to do the work. Below is a copy and paste from my AHS review I received from the service they performed. I've posted this same review on Google.

William from DNB, showed up one hour into the 12pm-5pm time slot. He promptly examined the disposal and determined it needed replacing. He told me that since it was a 3/4 hp disposal, he would have to get one sent out a few hours later as he only had 1/2 hp disposals on his truck, but I guess another tech was in the area and dropped one off. He had the old one out and the new one within an hour. I don't give out five stars to very many service contractors but I'm giving DNB a five-star rating for the prompt service and their friendly technician. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service I received today.

All the bad reviews that are posted here are spot on. I had to use them because my home warranty company uses them and I went and read these reviews and tried to be positive and hoped that my experience would be different but it didn't. I had a leaking kitchen faucet and should have been a simple fix but it is 3 weeks and still not fixed. Landmark Home Warranty is also at fault for being as unreliable as DNB plumbing. They also give you a convenient 5 hour window. I've called ARS and Milton Frank for other issues and did not get that kind of window. I thought maybe the plumber also worked for Comcast with that kind of waiting time. Stay away!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! I try to ensure I post positive reviews whenever I receive great service. Negative reviews on my end are rare but I feel it is necessary to save a family like mines the trouble. On 8/19/2016 DNB plumbing was sent to my home via my homeowner's warranty company. I had noticed that our upstairs toilet was raised from the base and had cracked the tile. When the repairman arrive he lifted the toilet and determined the flange was broken. I specifically asked if that was what caused the toilet to lift and possibly crack the tile...He replied yes and gave a detailed explanation as to why and how it happened. Never mentioned or checked for any other leaks. Fast-forward 10 days later after my family and I came back home from a family trip...I go to use the downstair bathroom directly below the toilet that was "repaired" by DNB plumbing and find the ceiling is molding and dripping water (YUCK). This was a Sunday of course they were closed. We immediately called our home warranty company and DNB plumbing. Our home warranty company said they would send DNB back out free of charge to fix the problem. Tuesday the same repair man arrived assessed the problem them concluded we had a leak ( duh) fixed the leak and took picture of the water damage. Then proceeded to tell us to take the water damage up with our home owners warranty (My thoughts: uhhh... what sir? you did this). Against my better judgement I called my homeowner warranty company who informed me that they did not handle secondary damage. I then call DNB plumbing back and explained the situation and they reluctantly agreed to repair the water damage but explained we would have to get someone else to "paint." A new guy comes and does the initial patch work on the ceiling and says to call the office to set an appointment for him come back out. We set the appointment. The day of the appointment I get a call saying that the second appointment was scheduled in error because they only agreed to do the initial patch work and the sanding as well as painting would need to be completed by a 3rd party. This was not what I was told when I spoke to DNB plumbing Monday morning Aug. 29. She attempted to tell me the water damage was already there prior to DNB initial visit on 8/19/16 because "it takes more than a couple of days for mold to grow." I explained to her my family and I were away for days with no A/C on in our home, Houston has hot humid weather... mold grows fast. Per my research "Spores can germinate after only 12 hours in some conditions and some grow in 24 to 48 hours. Houses offer an ample food supply- drywall, wood, insulation, and paper. When these materials become damp or wet, settled spores can become growing molds. Molds may colonize in 1 to 12 days depending on the type of mold." I consider myself to be extremely honest and do my best to be fair to others and I expect the same. This company did not hold up to their end of the deal and had cost my family additional money. They did have a recommendation readily available for some to come out to complete the patch work and painting ( for a very reasonable fee) tuh. NEVER AGAIN will they receive my hard earned money to do such poor work.

When the thermocouple in my 2005 American water heater began to give out I placed a work order with my home warranty. The company they put in charge of the servicing was DNB plumbing home services, I was happy to hear that someone was on the job and that I would have hot water soon. After three days someone from DNB called me about my work order while I was at work, they left a voice mail stating that I placed a work order and the wanted to schedule appointment. I called back the first chance I could get a break at work only to not have my call answered, I figured they must be busy and left a message and went back to work.

After two more days I called back asking when someone would get in contact with me and to be spoken to very rudely and how they were very busy with the holiday season, I figured that they were short staffed and over worked so I made an appointment and did not argue. It would not be another 4 days until someone would come by, granted this is almost 5 days without hot water and it would be over a week without hot water until someone arrived. Someone from DNB called me back and told me I would have to place an order to receive a new burner assembly through American water heater and that I would have to get the part from the manufacture, because DNB did not have access to such parts. At this point I am upset by the run around and still trying not to lose my cool, I got another call back from DNB saying they could in fact order the part and that it would be there whenever the plumber was scheduled to see me. Finally on the after almost two weeks the plumber, who was polite and professional arrived, only to have arrived with the wrong burner assembly.

He blamed the incident on the rude receptionist I had spoken to and told me he would find the correct part personally which he did, but he would not be able to install the part for another 3 days or say making the entire ordeal over 2 weeks. Finally the same plumber arrived with the proper part installed it and recede payment, kudos to the actual plumber shame one DNB. About a month and a half passed when the toilet in my guest bath began leak, so I placed another work order with my home warranty and of course the service was scheduled through DNB home services once again. I was not very happy with my home warranty, but understood there was little I could do. Reluctantly I made an appointment with DNB; the plumber was polite and professional and discovered that leak was coming from damaged and cracked tank.

It was the plumber who wrote down the information on the tank and told me that DNB would order the part and they would get back to me in two to three days. A week passed with no reply, I then contacted DNB home services when the receptionist answered my phone call I explained the situation to her. The receptionist responded with, "Can you give me your street name, so we can discuss this intelligently" I was shocked, by the time the receptionist actually put into insulting me as if it was something she did routinely. I gave the receptionist my street name to which she put me on hold, after finding my paper work the receptionist told me the "plumber wrote down an 800 number for you to call on your receipt and that once you obtain the part, since it was under warranty only then would they install the part". This all made perfect sense, but that was not what I was told by the plumber who visited my home to check on the toilet. Upset I got off the phone with the receptionist as soon as possible; I understand that for the problem to be resolved I must get in contact with the manufacture I do not blame DNB for that. What I am upset with is the rude treatment of myself as a costumer, their bureaucratic run around in order to get anything done and that if the plumber had in fact told me to call and order the part I would have. He in fact did write a number on my receipt, but went out of his way to tell me they DNB would order the part and that they would contact me in two to three days he never mentioned anything about the tank being under warranty. I hope I have no more issues with my recently purchased home much less anything plumbing and if something else does happen to fail I will fight tooth and nail in order to get some other plumbing company to get the issue resolved I would never recommend this company to anyone.
