Breaking your main water line under your driveway is never a pleasurable experience but the team at D. Lewis and Co and Thousand Oaks Plumbing helped eradicate my problem in a timely and professional manner. We first called Thousand Oaks plumbing and worked with Tony who helped shut off our water main. We were referred to D. Lewis where I spoke to Andrew in the office who was able to arrange Drew to come out at 730a on Friday to help locate the leak. He understood that I had two toddlers and was going to do his best to get somebody to come out as soon as possible so we can get Thousand Oaks Plumbing and their team to eradicate the issue. Drew came on time at 730a and was off by only 9 inches which is incredible considering we had trees trimming and Santa Ana winds in the background the entire time. Larry from Thousand Oaks plumbing came out shortly after and was able to provide my family with a temporary water line which allowed me to utilize my home over the weekend. He also helped me assess a few other issues within our house that needed fixed. Larry was fantastic and I felt like he was looking out for the wellbeing by identifying things that needed to be fixed. Miquel did an incredible job fixing the main water line in our driveway only creating a small hole 2x2 hole in our driveway. It looks incredible and I am grateful that he took so much pride in his work. The office staff was remarkable as well. They were able to schedule quick appointments with the same team and in a timely fashion. I even called the afterhours line and got a call back within a few hours. I would highly recommend the entire team and I appreciate them taking the time to calm my nerves and explain everything they were doing. I hope to never see them again but if I do, I won't hesitate to call Thousand Oaks Plumbing.

We recently learned that we had a leak via a notice from our water company. We first contacted our plumber that was able to pinpoint the General area, unfortunately it was something that needed a leak detection company to be precise. He Suggested we call DLewis, did that and spoke with Andrew. I must say from the moment he answered the phone till the end of our conversation he was consistently kind and knowledgeable. He made our appointment within a day. Our Technician Specialist (TIM) was the BEST ... He phoned prior to his scheduled arrival time due to our dog. I must say from time of his arrival till completion, he was extremely thorough...
He took pride in what he does and is also a very kind person.. very professional. My plumber was able to stop by and Tim informed him of what was happening. It's always great to do business with a company that the inside management and the actual outside service technicians are all equally knowledgeable as well as kind ..thank you

I just had an unusual experience. I had called to inquire about services but did not make an appointment. I had a nightmare weekend with 2 plumbers trying to discover a leak while discovering water and mold under a linoleum floor while getting a tile job done. After having my water shut off and a lot of plumbing work done, D Lewis came out for leak detection after the whole experience was over. I did not make an appointment but for some reason they thought I had. The young man who came out was very nice and understood. I explained what had happened. He agreed not to charge me for the misunderstanding. He did take a listen with his machine to my sprinkler valves which I think was the cause of the whole problem. There was only a slight almost non-existent leak. I just wanted to say customer service like this, even for a miscommunication is rare. If and when I do need leak detection again (hopefully not!) I will definitely call D Lewis Co. After so many bad experiences with contractors this was a pleasure! Thank you D Lewis!

We smelled something musty in our home so went on yelp and found D Lewis Co. Called and had the pleasure of talking to Andrew. Umm can we say patient and so awesome and so nice?? We ended up finding the obvious leak ourselves and didn't need them to come out but I still wanted to write a great review for Andrew and how wonderful it was to speak to him and if we ever need a leak detection company we will for sure call these guys!!!
