We have used DF plumbing a number of times, and they are wonderful! A few of the things they have done for us is install a new bathroom sink, install a new toilet, replumbed our kitchen sink, replaced outside faucets, unclogged, our bathroom sink and shower.

Great work at good prices. Always comes quickly when we call. We've used them for small jobs, like a leaky faucet and bigger jobs, like adding a line for our new refrigerator with ice maker, and a new outdoor spigot in the front of our house. Never had a complaint.

Charged over $400 to install water heater in 2013. Sent two young apprentices(?) to do the job. Almost immediately noticed water on floor. Apparently they bumped into bleeder valve. Recently noticed they made some terrible connections from overflow valve that broke when a roll of paper towels landed on it! Horrible fittings half-haphazardly connected. Cheap plastic downspout piping for overflow (which has since broken) instead of copper pipe. Did not put pan underneath per code either. Recommended by horrible then-property Management company Classic Property Management in E. Longmeadow MA. A friend using someone else charged $150 for a good job. STAY AWAY.

D F Plumbing did the plumbing work in our house that was built in 2007. We purchased the house in 2008 only to have a our septic back up in our basement because the company placed the part that carries the waste to the septic tank backwards. Luckily, this was covered the warranty so fixing it was no cost to us. A couple days ago there was water damage to one of the units in the duplex. After having a plumber come out to assess the source of the damage, it turns D F Plumbing did not used the proper sealant to seal the drain in the tubs. They used a silicone which allowed water to leak creating damage to the floor/ceiling and mold growth. The plumber checked all 4 bathrooms in the 2 units that we purchased and the same incorrect sealant was used in all tubs. This company clearly does things the fast/cheap way...I would never recommend them nor would I hire them.

My husband had replaced the kitchen facet/sprayer for an elderly friend of mine and this improved the water pressure - temporarily. After a few weeks, the aerator was filled with silt, so he hired DF Plumbing to look into the cause of the problem.

I happened to be there at the time and explained to the plumber that the owner's pump had been replaced several months earlier, which was causing an excessive amount of silt to run through the pipes, and the whole house filter needed to be changed and the pipes needed to be flushed. Instead, he installed a brand new, more expensive, faucet and sprayer, throwing out the one my husband had just put in! DF Plumbing never replaced the whole house filter or flushed the pipes so the low water pressure continued for months.

Eventually, my husband replaced the whole house filter and flushed the pipes. The water pressure is back to normal. The silt from the pump replacement had filled the filter, which was blocking the water stream. Neither my husband nor I are plumbers, yet we figured this out.

DF Plumbing charged my friend for an expensive faucet/sprayer that he didn't need, plus threw away the one that my husband had purchased a few weeks earlier. And, they didn't even put it in correctly! My husband had to climb under the sink and tighten it.

Plumbers? I think not.
