Don responded quickly and was able to deduce a relatively complicated situation that was causing our shower cartridges to clog up. He provided a fair estimate and took care of the situation prompted. We also found some other issues that Don took care of quickly on a subsequent trip. Don was easy to work with and knows his stuff. We'll definitely be using D E Mathieu going forward.

Showed up on time. Knew the unit I purchased (from Lowe's) wouldn't fit before even opening the box. While Don & his assistant remove my old water heater, I ran to a plumbing supply store to get a model that would work (I have a small utility closet in my garage, so space is very tight, but Lowe's didn't sell any models thinner than the one I bought. Paid quoted price, which was about 25% below what Lowe's installation would have cost.

Don is great! Our company was having an issue with brown water and he came out, diagnosed the problem and recommended a solution at a very reasonable price. I will be keeping his name in my phone for home plumbing issues because he is so honest and fair.

I would like to add, I called for multiple bids and he is the ONLY plumber in Warrenville that even bothered to call back. He came out that day and fixed the problem right away. We couldn't be happier.
