Get a second opinion and definitely a second estimate before moving forward with these guys. I used them in the past for a job and it was done right but when I tried to use them again, they were $1,000 more than a competitor for the same water heater. Plus, they charge $250 if you don't go with them for the visit, so I'm sure many people fall for it and just use them. Now you know, so don't make the same mistake. Get a quote before they come out to save yourself time and $250.

Happy to pay for quality but gouging is not OK and they are off my vendor list.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had a major (at least to me) plumbing issue on a Saturday morning. I called around and most said that they could be out to take a look in 48 hours. In a moment of desperation, I called D. Burgo- they are local but I was not familiar with them. My call was answered in the first ring- less than an hour later Drew (one of the owners) was at my house. He was polite, pretty cool, didn't mind my questions and swiftly solved my problem at a price that was more than fair- it was a steal. I've now deleted every other plumber from my Rolodex (for you young folks, that's like your phone's contacts) and Drew is my guy- hopefully not too often, though :)

Winter of 2019 we had a gas leak behind our dryer. D Burgo was called the next day and they came that morning an repaired the leak. At the time I appreciated the speed at which the responded and the bill was reasonable. I woke up this morning and went to my basement and the smell of gas was present again. After calling the gas company it turns out the connection that was ""fixed"" less then two years ago was leaking again.

I am not sure of the reason but they used only tape on the threads of my gas line piping and did not use any pipe dope. This just screams sloppy work with a lack of attention to detail.

They won't be back in my house.

Charged me $200 to come look at a major repair in my basement bathroom. Didn't receive the quote for a week, but cashed that check right away!The estimate was not itemized at all, just one large total cost (even though I asked for a break down of the price and still haven't heard anything). Every other plumber I had out here for an estimate didn't charge me a dime, knowing the job is going to cost a pretty penny. I guess if you hire a Collingswood company, you're going to pay Collingswood prices - because their quote was about $3k above what other plumbers are quoting for the same EXACT work. I heard I even went to high school with the owner.. ha! Would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. p.s. - if anyone can shoot me over a reliable, affordable plumber, would greatly appreciate. The other ones I've received quotes from are booked for weeks. Thanks.

The guy that came out was very good. Am very nice guy. But to charge me 600.00 because it was a Friday night to replace three turn off values I think was high way robbery for sure. I really need it done because it was leaking and I was having a party today. But that was not right to charge me 600.00 and tell me 250.00 to come out to put a ice maker filter on that I had to get at HD. I wouldn't call them again. The worker was very nice. But too too much money.

We had a recurring issue with our main sewer line in our new home. After using another plumbing company for the initial ""fix"" we were referred to D Burgo by neighbors of ours when it was determined we would have to replace the sewer line. Drew talked me through the process for replacing the line, and was able to provide me a quote same day. The price was much lower than what we were quoted by the first [larger] plumbing company we worked with, and Drew took the weight of permits and gas/electric company contact off our hands as well.
The day of the work, Drew and his team arrived early in the morning and were extremely efficient with digging the 6-foot trench, replacing the sewer line, and re-filling the trench. All in, it took about about 6-7 hours! The final price was exactly what Drew had quoted me, and was very fair considering the work done.
Overall, Drew was a pleasure to work with - he and his team were professional, prompt, and fair which went a long way with us during a stressful situation. We will definitely be using D Burgo for any future plumbing or HVAC/heating/cooling needs!

Called and spoke to Drew at 930pm for a leaking water heater. He walked us through on the phone how to turn it off so as not to flood entire basement and then he was out to our home by 730am the very next morning to fix it. Highly impressed and recommend to those in the area.
