Slow to come out to the property to look at the problem, slow to submit documentation and follow up with me and then on top of it, they told the home warranty company it was a preexisting condition in an attempt to get me to pay out of pocket.
Dennis M.They provide great service they were out thru my home warranty and and fixed a couple leak issue and one issue with a faucet wasn't covered by my home warranty but gave us suggestion on what to do to fix the issue
Horrible, horrible service. This company has been out twice and done NOTHING! Both times they turned the job in as being completed. Now calling home warranty company again to try to get them to come out and do their job. If they don't want the work they shouldn't be partnering with the warranty company. It has been one month now and still have no water in upstairs bath. If you get stuck with this vendor you need to be prepared to constantly call and follow up; otherwise, the job will just never be completed.
Katie K.I contacted my home warranty company (2-10) and they had D&B come out. They called me in less than 24 hours and set up the time for the technician to come out the next day. He called me to let me know he'd be there 5 minutes early, and was able to repair both of my issues (a bathtub faucet and an outdoor spigot) in under 1.5 hours. Overall, I'm very happy with the service!
Worst plumbing service I have ever experienced. My home warranty company sent them to my house for a leak and the guy seemed to be annoyed that he was at my house. You would think he would be happy to have work. He spent less than 10 minutes looking at the issue and then left. The plumber then wrote a report stating the issue was preexisting. So now my home warranty company won't cover it even though the inspection of the home said everything looked good... That being said, I would never have this plumbing company work on my house. They are rude and don't give the time necessary to review the issue.
Mike C.Got in contact with them thru my home warranty company. The owner stopped by to verify our issue and was back a couple days later with a new water heater. In and out under 2 hours and couldn't have been more professional. Would definitely use their services again
Stephen H.Horrible service! Came out and looked at the handle on our single handle faucet for the bathtub. He said that it was either corroded or stripped by me, the homeowner, and left. (Btw, this was for low water pressure in our bathtub.) He said he had to check to see if a new handle was covered by insurance and would get back to us. Well insurance said they wouldn't cover a new handle because me, the homeowner stripped it. Mind you this was just the handle, nothing really to do with the single valve cartridges that was causing the problem. Just a lazy company with lazy employees. If you hate your job that much then go find a new one, don't jip customers who pay 75$ just for you to come out and tell us that an Allen screw is stripped or corroded, because you don't wanna do your job. PETTY.
Got to use this company through my Home warranty had a water heater was leaking. Came and looked at one day, came back next day and installed new water heater did a great job. That was in October and very satisfied.
Thanks Mike T.
My home warranty company sent D & B to look at my kitchen garbage disposal. They said the disposal was fine but some lemon peels had caused a clog. They cleared out the peels and told me everything was fine. It wasn't. The disposal still didn't work and my sinks backed up with water and into my dishwasher. Upon calling my warranty company they said D & B told them the disposal was broken but it was my fault and they should deny my claim. I contested that and another plumber came (from Melton Services) for a second opinion. He found rust and a crack in the disposal and said the disposal needed to be replaced regardless of the peels (and that they weren't the cause). So, D & B lied to me when they said it was all fixed and lied to my warranty company when they said it wasn't fixed but it was my fault. I will never trust them again.
Had to use this company through American Home Shield home warranty when my water heater started leaking.
The first tech that arrived pulled into my driveway and the first thing out of his mouth was ""I'm not here to do anything today."" He and his helper entered my home and before he even saw the water heater stated ""I can already see we have a lot of problems.""
After looking at it briefly, stated to me that he had a water heater in his truck but he wasn't putting it in. He was going to recommend a ""cash out"" to my warranty company and I could deal with this myself.
AHS contacted me a day later with this company's ""diagnosis."" The tech stated in his report that he arrived to my residence & couldn't diagnose the problem because the water was shut off to the water heater. After I complained, AHS made another appointment for this company to send another tech to my home. Rodney arrived to my residence the second time around. Rodney stated to me (I have all of this recorded on video on my phone) that he didn't understand why the 1st tech told me it was not doable and he always has to come out after him to fix situations.
After Rodney told me my water heater was very doable, he was personally putting in his report that he was recommending to AHS that they go ahead and order a water heater and as soon as it arrived at their shop, they would contact me to schedule replacement. I also asked about hidden fees like water heater removal, moving gas, water lines to the water heater, the flue, etc. as I had a copy of what my warranty covered. Rodney started naming off fees for water heater removal ($60) and other made-up fees. When I rattled off my warranty contract coverages verbatum, his tone changed & stated everything would be taken care of by him.
His report to AHS stated that they would have to jack hammer my floor, relocate water lines and that there would be clearance issues with a new water heater and he recommended a ""cash out"" option. AHS asked if I would like for D & B to replace my water heater but according to their recommendations, I would be stuck with paying for almost $1000 in extra fees. Rodney flat out lied (on recording) to my face.
This company sends their techs out to get their guaranteed service call fees from AHS, lies to the customer or finds ways to add extra fees that they claim your warranty company won't cover.
I wouldn't call this company to screw a garden hose to my spigot because they would probably initially charge you a service fee to send their first tech out to pull up & say he isn't going to do it. Then charge you a second service fee to come out again, bad-mouth the first service tech who came out, state that the job is easy, then try to find every way to lie to the customer and add additional fees to the bill by making up things that are wrong with your hose or spigot.
This company is a joke, fraud & obviously according to 99% of their reviews on Google, Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau, anything but a reputable plumbing business.
The only star they rate is for the secretary who seems to be the only polite and honest one for this business.
After receiving my ""cash out"" check, since I am an electrician & work in the industrial, commercial construction business, I had a certified plumbing buddy of mine from a real plumbing business, help me install my new water heater. It is 1"" larger in diameter than my old one, but fits in the same space the same way as my old one did, without having to ""jackhammer"" my floor or relocate my main water lines. The door to my closet even shuts all the way now because he readjusted the gas line feeding it for me. You know why? Because he is a real plumber who isn't a fraud, and cares about his company's reputation and his customer's satisfaction in doing a good job.
