I usually do not fill out reviews but this one was warranted. Let me start off by saying that I don't Usually trust plumbing as they are usually high priced and will do anything to sell the job. Not the case with D and L plumbing. I had purchased my house a few years ago from a flip company. They never installed a drain hole for the washing machine. I was referred to D and L plumbing by a friend. I figured what risk is there if I just call for a quote. Right from the start I could tell this was going to be a better experience than I had dealt with in the past. He had me explain the issue and said he would be over the next day to asses it.
He showed up right when he said he would and I showed him the lack of drain and showed him the crawl space so he can see where the drain should have been. He went into the crawl space and walked right over to where the drain should have been and said. "" you actually already have a drain here it's just blocked"". I was stunned. He went back up stairs and removed the blockage and put the washer drain hose into the drain inlet. I started the washer reluctantly but he assured me it would be fine. lo and behold , the washer started to drain with no issues. I was in awe of what just happened. Remember when I said I don't trust plumbers. I had had 2 quotes for $1500 and $1800 to "" add a drain "". Now I am no plumber by any means and I am very uneducated regarding the whole plumbing process. I had thought that since I had gotten 2 quotes that were similar in price, this must be what it is going to cost. Goes to show you how honest and forthcoming this company really is. He was willing to lose the "" job "" and do the right thing and perform a simple fix. That is how you know a company will do the right thing by the customer and keep you in the loop the whole process. D and L plumbing is now my recommendation to anyone that needs a plumber for big or small jobs and I will be spreading the word to family and friends.
