George (Cypress Plumbing) is outstanding - on time, fast, and fair pricing. I highly recommend and will use in the future. You can not go wrong. The issue was at my mother's home (she is 87) and he unclogged and cleaned the lines behind her washer. She had set up with another company who would not be out for two weeks and he was out within one day. She cancelled the other company after I told her to give me a chance to find someone. Someone on nextdoor.com recommended him and said he was highly reviewed on Yelp. Sure enough yelp comes through again. Thank you George.

After making an offer on my first home, I needed a plumbing inspection ASAP to address concerns of a large tree in the front yard, among other items. I got an immediate appointment from George and he showed up promptly and got to business. He was very professional, clean, and detailed. He sent a camera down the pipes out to the street and the quality was perfect! He even sent the video to me to have for later views. He went through every item in the house that was addressed and was very honest with his inspection. I was very satisfied and felt confident with moving forward in the home purchase. I highly recommend George!

Pick this one. I had a leak in the wall of my kitchen island, which he fixed in about an hour, and he was at my house within about 30 minutes after my call.

My impression of him is that he is smart, comfortable with what he does, and has an obvious sense of integrity. If I had thought up my ideal experience with having to call someone to repair a leak this experience would have topped that. Not only did he do his job well, but he was also kind enough to ask if I knew where the water shut off was, and took the time to show me and inform me how to properly take care of these things. He explained his thought processes, and the how and why of what he was doing to fix the problem. You are in good hands with George!

You very rarely find someone who actually does take responsibility....even if it really wasn't their fault. George returned ASAP to fix something that was a result of poor work in the past and not his doing. I am going to have to figure how to set up ""speed dial"" on my new phone.

My 1926 historic home was flipped back in 2007. Badly. Cheaply. Unconscionably. I'm talking unvented plumbing, holes in pipes, missing parts, and a not-so-pleasant surprise--a cracked sewer line. It was a plumbing nightmare, and George took it all in stride.

He is honest, hardworking, knowledgable, and reliable. He knew what I needed, promptly sent me a quote, and did what needed to get done. He spent over a week in my home, repairing and replacing and rerouting every single bathroom, kitchen, and laundry pipe I have. He's respectful and clean and answered every single one of my I-have-to-know-everything-what-is-that-thing-why-are-you-doing-that questions.

I now have a brand new, fully functioning plumbing system that is finally free of gurgles, odors, bugs, and quirks. George will be my go-to plumber for years to come, and I have already recommended him to all my friends and neighbors.

As a woman, it is invaluable to feel comfortable having someone in your home for the countless hours and days it takes to get a big job done. Now, if only he also did tiling, roofing, and AC repair...

One final note: Cypress Street Plumbing was the first business I called, but I got voicemail and moved on to the next. For various reasons, I wasn't happy with the two plumbing companies who came out to give me quotes, so I followed my initial instinct, called back, and George answered the phone. You guys, he's busy because he's good. If you get voicemail, it's because he's crawling in the dirt under someone's home, fixing problems we'd rather not even think about. Leave a message. You won't regret it.

Called Cypress Street Plumbing last week based on positive reviews on yelp. George answered the phone, and was very nice. He was in the car, so we talked later when he could take down information. We set up an appointment for Monday (today), and he said he'd be here between 7:00 and 8:00 am. I left him a message about 9:00 since I had not heard from him. No response. About 1:30 I gave up and called someone else. I understand that things can happen, or he could have gotten an emergency call or something, but it was very inconsiderate to not at least let me know. I will not call again, or recommend him.

Update: George, sorry for the harsh review. With so many 5 star reviews, you must be doing good work. I intend to give you another call when I need some plumbling work again. As I said in my original review, I understand how things can happen, but was very frustrated having taken the day off of work to be here.

I am a landlord that lives in California but has several houses in Phoenix and it's a constant struggle to find good contractors. I'm always thrilled when I manage to find one and George at Cypress Street is one of my favorites. He's responsive, fair and does quality work. I cannot recommend them more highly.
