Once again the folks at Cypress Heating and Air far exceeded our expectations. We've been using them for over 30 years and unlike some business that seem to sink into curiosity, Cypress just seems to get better. This time our technician Alex Morales was top notch, showed up on time, got right to work, was very knowledgeable, adhered to all current covid protocol, communicated clearly fixed the problem and offered numerous suggestions for maintaining an efficient HVAC System. For those that don't know, Cypress is family own and operated and from the top down, they know how to take care of their customers, we would never think about going anywhere else for our heating and air work.

I don't usually leave reviews but I just had to leave this company a well deserved honest and clear review because of how great the experience I had with them . They were very professional, from the salesperson , to the technicians, to the person who answers the phone. Firstly, I was needing a whole complete HVAC replacement top to bottom which we all know is probably one of the most expensive parts of your home to get worked on . I did my homework and was looking for a company specifically a Lennox certified dealer who would do a good and clean installation because as I researched installation is the most important part of your HVAC and cypress checked all the boxes. I was aware of some bad reviews and let me tell you most of them were service calls and what people don't understand is that labor cost and company cost are 90 percent of what you are paying for and it could be a $4 part and your bill can be $200. But again that's mostly labor and company cost to run a business. Ok enough with that I need to express my experience and in more detail why you would want this company to install or work on your HVAC system and why I feel I got what I paid for and if not even more .
Gary the rep was very attentive to all my needs and made the process painless and easy. He explained clearly the whole install process of how there installation process worked and how it should look after all is done. He was Very responsive and gave me the best options based on my budget. Every time I had a question or needed explanation of anything he always responded no not 2 or 3 hours later or even the next day it was like within the minute or in a timely fashion. This was the first good sign and one reason why I hired this company to do such a critical and expensive install in my home.
Id like to also recognize the technician Oscar. Well trained very professional.answered and was always willing to go above and beyond to make things right. His work was clean and professional.
Also I have to say they aren't the cheapest but they aren't the most expensive either..but most times you get what you pay for and I'll tell you every money penny the job costed me was well worth it.

Was very unhappy with the overall attitude. The service person. Won't mention his name. A larger gentleman. would not give me any clear answers. And when I wouldn't commit to doing the job he seemed unhappy with my decision. He ended up getting into his cypress truck and sped off down the street which made me more upset . I would look elsewhere..

Called Cypress Air and made an appointment for tune-up & inspection. Appt set for next day. Later, spoke to same woman who made the appt and told her we also wanted our vents cleaned. She said she would advise the person coming to inspect.
Inspecting person arrived, he was never advised about vent cleaning and said that would have to be a separate appt. He did the inspection and since we had a coupon for $69, we paid the bill.
He said that we would get a call regarding vent cleaning appt, when he returned to the office.
That was October 9th - we have never heard from the company at all.
Unreliable, unprofessional - need I say more?

I was charged $650 to change out a capacitor. The guy was only here for a half hour. I guess the guy figured I didn't have a clue. So if you want to get totally gouged and ripped off have Cypress air do you work for you.

Bingo! This is how a service company should operate. Our AC went out on Sunday (one of the hottest days of the year so far) while we were out of town and it was being shown for sale by our realtor. We called four different AC companies after normal business hours, and Cypress was the 1st to respond early Monday morning, not long after I called. Only one other company called back and they couldn't make it until 3 days later. Ivan, the service rep, replaced the condenser and cleaned up a few areas and had us up, running, and cooled off by noon! Ivan called ahead of time and stated he would be here within 30min. Seconds later I received a text with his picture, work experience, and a phone number to call if there were any issues. I would highly recommend Cypress Heating & Air Conditioning.

I used Cypress Heating two years ago because my AC was not cooling. I had a couple other companies come out and they wanted to sell me a new system. Rod Hernandez, the owner, came out and recharge the AC Freon and tightened a valve that was leaking. I was very happy which is why I called them again.
The compressor fab was not working when my AC was on. I called Rod and he sent out Ivan, who replace the capacitor on the compressor unit, cleaned the compressor and heater, and replaced the filter. My AC system is back up an running and Cypress Heating once again did a great job for me. Thanks Rod and Cypress Team

I am a realtor and scheduled an inspection with Cypress earlier this week on behalf of my buyer clients to determine the state of the air unit in a condo we are in escrow for. We do this for our clients to confirm the condition of a property and negotiate if we find an issue that was not known before opening escrow. This is incredibly important as it protects buyers from purchasing a home only to find out after the fact that it needs costly repairs.
I was told upfront that I would be given an inspection report to pass along to the sellers so that we could negotiate according to our findings, as is best practice in real estate sales. Our inspector was friendly and seemed knowledgeable, even taking the time to explain to me what he was seeing. He told me he would have the report for me the next afternoon as he was aware of our upcoming deadline. The next day, I got in touch with Cypress and was told we would be delayed a day. Frustrating, but these things happen. I made it clear that we really needed the report as soon as possible the following day. When the next afternoon arrived and I called them back and spoke with someone in the office. She rudely expressed to me that it was going to be another day and there was nothing they would do to expedite despite telling us when we would receive it before we paid them.
Fast forward to this morning when the report was supposed to arrive. Instead of a report, all we received was a two sentence quote for replacing the entire system. No photos, no description of what was wrong, nothing that could be used to negotiate with the seller in a transparent and honest way. Its important to restate that they told us we would have a full report with these items included. After expressing my dissatisfaction and going back and forth with Joann by email, she sent me some additional photos with NO CONTEXT as to what we are looking at. I asked for her to at least send some sort of indication that the full repair was something they were recommending and not just quoting for and all she sent back was ""Sorry this is all I've got for you."" An inspection with this company was a waste of money thanks to blatant laziness and/or a lack of honesty regarding what to expect.
I hate leaving reviews like this because businesses, like people, have bad days sometimes and that doesn't necessarily mean that it's an inherently bad business. Because of this I notified them that I would be leaving this review if nothing changed and was promptly accused of extortion. I was trying to simply give them the courtesy of a heads up, but instead of writing an email that says ""we recommend you replace the air unit for the following reasons,"" it was easier to resort to rude defensiveness.
Cypress: I am still willing to remove this review once you do what you promised. It is more important to me to get what we paid for than to complain in such a public way. I respect family owned businesses and understand things go wrong, but this is deeply unprofessional and needs to be remedied otherwise it is worth letting other people know what my clients and I went through so they don't make the same mistake. We are at our deadline and kept our word to pay you in time. Its your turn to keep your word.

Dany (and trainee Daniel) were great. They called from around the corner to let us know they would arrive in a few minutes. That was much appreciated. While here, both were senior-friendly. courteous, professional and COVID-conscious. Thanks for the super service!

We just had your service tech Alex out to our home to troubleshoot an issue with our air conditioner. It was recommended that we replace the dual capacitor...we now realize the cost of part was under $30 and we were charged $400 for the part and 5 min install...seems a bit outrageous...shame on you. We will not be contacting you in the future for any air-conditioning work
