Cummings Plumbing was recommended by my insurance agent after we experienced a fire at our facility. Brian was attentive at first. There was an ongoing issue with a boiler being installed.I called the office and was told the plumber handling my facility had a sinus infection and there was no one else that could help me. As a commercial facility this is Unacceptable. Post illness they did return to finish the boiler 3 days with no heat. They just stopped returning my calls but managed to send a final bill which they were paid in full and in a timely fashion. It is now 6 months later and It has come to my attention they never called for a final inspection on the work they had done. Its been over a week since i notified them of the outstanding inspection issue. I was told someone would get back to me the following day. Its been 10 days no call. When I contacted them again told the same story someone will get back to you first thing Monday morning.DOUBT IT Monday is a holiday.Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend this company if you need immediate and complete service. Disgraceful for a professional company to operate like this.

Cummings is the best. Our dryer broke on a Monday. Needed someone to come out to cap off the gas line so I could get a new dryer. I couldn't find anyone to come out to help. It is now Friday. My parents have used them and had good luck. I called at 9:00 this morning and they were here in 30 mins. Not only that but discovered the gas line was corroded and we had a potentially dangerous situation. So they may have also saved us from a catastrophe. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I recently had the need for a plumber, it wasn't an emergency but I did hope to have it done within a few days. I had use another plumber on several occasions and had always been happy with the work done. That was then, this is now. It seems my former plumber has retired, but his son(s) now run the business. I called the number I had and left a message, after a day and a half waiting I called back, left another message and did receive a call back. Sadly, I was not able to take the call when it came in and they were forced to leave a message. The problem was the person who left the message spoke so fast and was so unclear I had no idea what they had said. I then called for the 3rd time and spoke to a young girl who answered and said her mother made all the appointment so she couldn't help me.

Four days after my 1st call still no appointment was set up; this is when I turned to Yelp! and found C. W. Cummings. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the fact that a PERSON answered their phone. I was able to get an appointment for Monday morning (I called on a Friday). They gave me a 8 AM appointment .

On the day of the appointment, I got a call at 8:05 am saying that they were running a little behind but where on their way, at 8:20 am they arrived. All I could think about was how many times I had made an appointment and was given a window of time in which to wait, and how often those people never show up early or even within the window. I was completely taken aback that a) they called to say they were running a little late and b) apologize for the delay and then arrive 15 minutes sooner than the half hour they said they thought they would be.

Ken, the Master Plumber and his apprentice were both well mannered and extremely professional. They came in and asked to see the work. (I was replacing a toilet and needed to have my dryer vent hose replaced.) I had already bought the toilet and accordion tubing for the vent (it was not long enough and needed a solid tube extension to what was there). Ken told me the SET price for each job, then asked if I wanted him to start the job.

I don't know anyone who would say that hiring a plumber was inexpensive, but I have to say the cost was more than reasonable, considering that they where here for 2 and 1/2 hours and left without the slightest sign they had even done any work.

If you need a plumber who not only answers their phone, but is considerate that your time is as valuable as theirs I HIGHLY recommend C.W.Cummings.

I can't say enough about these guys. I called them today, a referral from a local company that no longer does plumbing. My tenant was experiencing problems with a toilet that I had installed the day before. Apparently she didn't take, bad flange, my bad.

I talked to Sam at the office and explained that I was a poor plumber and needed help immediately. I told her that my tenant had nothing but problems this year with house stuff, and I'd like to help her out ASAP. Sam told me she'd have someone call back in ten minutes with options, and I received a call from Chris shortly there after. Chris did everything in his power to help me today, and eventually he decided to send Brian to my place first before going to a less urgent call. This was all at 11:00 am.

Brian came to the unit at 1:00, assessed the situation, and changed out the bad flange. He reinstalled the toilet, good as new.

Everyone was extremely friendly, pleasant, helpful, and patient. It's so refreshing to have a positive experience with a local company after my fair share of duds. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone. Pricing was more than fair and upfront, I did everything over the phone without having to meet in person. It was amazing to talk to three helpful people from one company in one day.

Highly recommend them!!was referred to them by my cousin after dealing with nightmare after nightmare from other plumbing companies that would not show up to appointments or show up for a little while then leave and not return. Cummings did as promised , was very knowledgable and professional . Ken was the plumber worked on my house..He is awesome !!and Chris the owner spent a lot of valuable time on the phone with me answering questions and going over different scenarios with me.. I seriously was beginning to hate plumbers until I meant these guys ..Thanks again !!

These guys suck! They were willing to come out on a Sunday for $425 but trying to schedule a weekday to fix my water heater was nightmare. Totally unprofessional, I'd stay away from this one.

Our hot water sort of fall apart over the winter and it became obvious that we need a new one. I was intrigued by the new tankless ones so we starting investigating the pros and cons.

We had a friend recommend the C.W. Cummings Company so we invited them over for an estimate. The guy was very honest and patiently explained the difficulties of installing one in our old Victorian home.

It wasn't exactly just bolting the thing the wall, all kinds of pipes had to be changed and things moved. It could be done but in the end I suspect building the space shuttle would have been easier and cheaper.

So we ended going with a conventional water heater. They gave us a good price and did the work quickly, quietly and efficiently. Cleaned up after themselves and didn't even mind our two cats bugging them while supervising the operation.

Everyone was friendly, professional and obviously knew what they were doing. The guy even kept his pants on properly so we didn't have to see the infamous plumber's butt crack. You can't ask for any more than that.
