Horrible customer service!! Lexy the secretary is so rude and unprofessional. Must be one of the plumbers teenage daughters. RUDE. No follow up and never shows up! Horrible horrible horrible Would strongly NOT recommend them.
My hot water heater needed to be completely replaced on a Saturday at 3pm. Don the technician was amazing! He was at my house in under an hour with the hot water heater replaced in less time it took to get there. Don was a complete professional and took the time to walk me through everything he was doing. I had to throw him out of the house because he would not stop cleaning! Thank you Chris for being a straightforward, upstanding and professional business owner. I would definitely refer CV, and will be coming back to CV for all my HVAC and plumbing needs!
Lee O.Rip off artist! Charged $450 for an emergency visit just to give a quote, then charged an additional fee for cutting a hole in the ceiling, and wanted to upsell us on additional unnecessary services and work. Would rather use an outhouse than ever deal with CV plumbing again.
Use them to maintain my above ground pool for several years now. They do a very good job and have a pleasant staff.
Chris came to my home and told me what the problem was, I thought he was coming in for one thing but he told me I had a bigger problem then I thought it was. He came and fixed the problem very fast the next day! Which was great, The receptionist is just so rude, she doesn't care about what you have to say even though, you're paying the company. If I was him I would fire her and hire someone nicer. After they did the job, they were focused on two things the plumbing and the AC, the plumbing was great! I was able to get hot water and cold water, but the AC issue was the still problem. I called the receptionist was still rude, because I wanted to tell them that I still have no AC, Chris came out and noticed that the system had never been plugged in. How could that be something his workers forgot? It makes no sense to me. Also watch out for this company, get a second opinion, sometimes they will tell you something is a problem and it is not. They will also call there other workers and expect you to pay them, on top of what he told you the price was going to be. After I paid the receptionist ""Forgot"" to send me a receipt. Nor did she ever send me a contract of what was going to be done, and my warranties. I suggest to just go to another place that is more responsible and professional.
Definitely would NOT recommend for Pools OR returning phone calls! The work men were polite enough but unfortunately did not install a Pool Pump & Filtration system properly and had to return three times to finally get it right! Then we had a different guy come out to inspect for a leak and after a $200 bill he could not find it! We had to consult with a different local Pool Company and they sent out someone who found it in a half hour! It was VERY difficult to get Chris on the phone as Meredith kept making excuses & promising a call back saying he was away or was not in the Office! Frustrating! So we finally gave up, cut our losses and went with a Company who specializes in POOLS ONLY!
Jay G.CV is simply horrible. They never listen to your issues, charge you extra for the errors they make, they didnt clean after themselves, loud, obnoxious & untrustworthy, his own employees dislike him and are out spoken about it, the quality of work is less then satisfactory, Not too mention he quotes you a price then throws an exuberant amount of extra fees for bogus issues. He's a snake in the grass...don't trust CV plumbing. DON'T USE THEM.
Ernest J.Do not use this company! I live in the same neighborhood where Chris' office, and still ripped me off to install paid-for by me water heater and charging $900 for less than 1 hour work!! On top of it, he was yelling at me and made a scene when I challenged the fee!! I thought of calling the police because of his behavior, but my wife advised me to take the higher road and don't argue as she was afraid of my safety.
My 24 year old furnace gave out on a 19 degree evening and the night before the nor'easter that dumped 12+ inches of snow in the area. There was no way to repair the ancient motor. That night Tom was able to re-engineer a motor from the shop and get the furnace going so my family and I would have heat until a new furnace could be installed. The new furnace was installed the day after the storm. Professional work from beginning to end. These guys are angels!
This guy is a CROOK do not use him! Came to my house when hot water heater broke and took my warranty sticker before any work was authorized. When I called around and found the job could be done for 1/2 the price and told him no go he effectively ransomed the sticker back to me for $225 and I even had to call the police to get someone from his office to return the sticker. Do not let your hot water heater warranty sticker out of your possession until you know how you're going to proceed! This type of job, labor cost for hot water heater replacement, should cost no more than $700 to $900, and CV quoted $1300.
