I've had one problem after another with Chris. I'm sure he's good for a simple plumbing repair but dealing with him for a remodel/new construction has been a nightmare. Though he communicated well when we first started, things started falling apart once he actually started the job. He just doesn't have the knowledge to do larger jobs and he lacks the professionalism to communicate when he messes up.

I'll give a brief a summary of my experience. First he buried a sewage pipe barely a couple inches below the grass in the backyard, which is obviously not up to code, and a potential disaster if someone decided to drive a small stake in the ground. So, of course, we had to redo that and he disappeared for more than a month before finally coming back and addressing the issue--likely, only because I hadn't paid him yet. To address the issue, he installed a sewage pump incorrectly, and when I sent him the manual that explained how he was supposed to install it, he ignored it and hasn't responded to me yet. He was pretty good with communicating up to this point which tells me he wasn't willing take ownership of yet another costly mistake. Either he lacks the professional skill set to do a proper job or he's just trying to save time and money. In any case, his work is not up to code and would lead to major damage and expense when it fails. I usually do my own work on my house, which is why I've been able to spot his mistakes. I imagine most homeowners wouldn't realize these shortcuts he's taking until it's too late, which might explain why he has other positive reviews in the short-term. It's been a several months now and dozens of calls and texts later without a response.

Maybe he reads this and actually cares about his reputation enough to finish the job, but you've been warned. I suggest you look elsewhere. It's worth paying more for a professional.

UPDATE: After writing this review, he texted me several angry messages. After I calmly explained to him all of this, he finally said he was was going to come back and finish. That was two months ago and he never wrote back again. Surprise, surprise. I've since had other plumbers come look at the work and they've found even more issues with his work such as the slope on the pipe was wrong, the copper water lines were undersized, he was using plastic pvc instead of cast iron for the vent, and on and on.

I already paid him half the amount which included another plumbing project that he didn't even start on. It's going to cost me thousands to get all this fixed and done right. At this point, I just want a refund so I can move on with another plumber and actually be able to use my yard again.

We tried to replace a sink ourselves and the pipe started to leak- Chris responded within minutes on Yelp And was at our house within an hour. He was so great to work with and fixed the leak and put our new vanity. He was awesome. Highly recommend!!

CV Plumbing is incredible! Asked for a job and they accommodated to a time I was available. They did such an amazing job on my kitchen faucet and also found a corroded pipe they quickly replaced. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Chris installed a new faucet, air gap, and soap dispenser for us. He also re-installed my garbage disposal and modified the existing plumbing lines after we had new countertops and a new sink put in. (We went from a double sink to a large single). Chris was easy to communicate with and his pricing was more than fair. I would definitely hire him again.
