Oh my, I was so relieved. When he came out it was planned that he would demo the shower floor. It couldn't be a worse time. I just had spinal surgery and I haven't worked for 9 months and the expense of the work was not helpful to my bank account.
He took a close look and poked a few places. Then he told me the floor was fine and no repairs were needed.
He lost a day for work and he had also gone to pick up the new tile. He charged a very small amount for his efforts.
Nothing is better than a honest contractor. I recommend him highly for this reason.

Alex was AMAZING!!! Words can't describe how happy I am with all his work. I was getting quoted 14k for my bathroom, Alex came in did a walkthrough and gave me a quote for almost half the price. After seeing his work on Instagram, I made arrangements to have him come do my shower. We removed a tub and some old tile. Alex was very communicative throughout the whole process and really made me feel comfortable during the entire shower remodel. His work was so precise and neat, and words can't describe how good of a job he did. He texted me throughout the whole process, his arrival time, when he was leaving etc. I have another shower I need to remodel in a couple of months and I will be choosing Alex again for this job. He did such amazing work, I have given his number to my coworkers, and I highly recommend him if you need a shower redone.

I had been searching for a while for a local contractor to do my tub/shower remodel but had such a hard time finding the right fit. I was looking for a full gut on the tile, fixtures and tub and I also wanted a new sliding glass door to be installed. Thankfully, I finally got a word of mouth recommendation for Alex. I'm so glad I went with this small business. Alex is SO detail oriented - you can tell he has a lot of pride in his craft. He was very communicative about his schedule and arrival times. It's the only bathroom in the house and he was very thoughtful about ensuring the space was clean at the end of his workdays. If I had another shower to re-do I'd hire him again, but in the meantime I've been recommending him to all of my friends for their updates.
