Very happy I went with Custom Plumbing. They live up to their good reviews. They got me in on short notice (the next day) and were very friendly and professional scheduling over the phone. Steven did a great job communicating with me his availability since he had a couple of jobs to complete before mine. He was very open to explaining the problem to me and helped answer any questions I had. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Reasonably priced. Couldn't have asked for more. Great job. Next plumbing issue I'll go with these guys for sure.

The ultimate professionals. At a time when all contractors of any sort (carpenters, landscaping, painting, plumbing, etc.) have more business than they know what to do with -- professionalism has gone out the window. The customer is left wondering whether somebody will show up on time, whether their bid will make sense, or if the quality of the repair will be worth the delay and cost of work. A call to Custom Plumbing will remind you of yesteryear, a time when people would do what they said they will do and they do it because they would do it at their own home.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and gave Custom Plumbing a call Sunday morning of Memorial Day Weekend. The technician Miles R. answered the call, gave an idea of what the cost would be, and arrived only 20 minutes later.

Miles was a consummate professional. He was very friendly, personable, and knowledgable. He was able to diagnose the issue rather quickly and gave his advice for preventing (or minimizing) future issues.

We highly recommend Northstate Custom Plumbing for plumbing needs in the Redding area. Miles showed great skill and integrity when completing the work. We will certainly be using them and recommending them to friends in the area.

If I could give them ten stars I would. They showed up on time, did an amazing job on two outdoor faucets and replacement of the disposal. I don't know how much plumbing should cost, but it seemed fair and then a few days later I get a thank you card in the mail and a refund because the tech accidentally put the time he arrived down wrong. Who does that in this day and age? A refund? Honesty? Integrity? Wow! Beyond impressed.

Moved into a new house, and the water heater is shot. Got lots of recommendations for plumbers and none of them called me back. The home warranty company sends me the worst reviewed plumber in the area. Then I remembered Yelp, as one of the 2 top rated plumbers on Yelp I called John Jones @ Custom Plumbing. He called right away with an appointment time. His was the last estimate of 5, and his price was in line with the others. I went with Custom Plumbing because John immediately put me at ease. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions without treating me like an ignorant. He was able to get someone out the next day, at no extra cost, even though it was a Saturday. The job was done, as promised, in the time frame given. And now, I have hot water!!!!

Fast and courteous service. The tech had all the parts needed, and got us back up quickly. A few days later we received a refund of a portion of what we had paid at the time of service. Their office administrator had reviewed the technician's invoice and determined we had been slightly over charged, thus the refund check. Now, I would have never known of the overpayment if not for the thoroughness and integrity of their staff. Not only did we get great service, but we learned they operate a very admirable, honest business. Highly recommended.
