Arrived to our house on OCMD to a frozen air conditioner unit. Called Custom Mechanical and they arrived within 1hr. Serviceman was very professional, ran a diagnostic on the air conditioner and found the problem and quickly fixed it. Thank you for your efficient and affordable work.

BEWARE!!! My Aunt, who is a senior citizen in Oceanview, asked them to come to her property to do an ESTIMATE ONLY for $171 and then WITHOUT her permission or consent, this company withdrew $614 from her bank account without ever telling her. Police are now involved. Neither my Aunt or Uncle ever gave consent for any work or charges or had any knowledge...there was NO contract. This company LIED (seems to be common practice after reading some of these other reviews) & said they emailed my Uncle, whose name isn't even on the property deed. My Uncle never saw an email let alone spoke to them or gave consent for anything. The company manager is very RUDE and is REFUSING to give the money back to her. So unprofessional. Can you even imagine having money withdrawn from your bank account by a company and you never gave them permission to charge your account? There was NO contract to do any work because they didn't do ANY work. This was supposed to be for an estimate only! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! And definitely DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK CARD or CREDIT CARD INFO until work is finished. In fact, I would never use a debit card if you decide to go with them....use a credit card so if they do what they just did to my Aunt, you can go to your credit card company's fraud department to dispute charges. Also contacted the district attorney because my guess this isn't the first time this has happened. And the bank is investigating what they did as well.

Hired them to check out a heat pump that wasn't cooling properly. Tech couldn't form a sentence but knew all the up charges. 3.00- lb refrigerant cost me 450. Total to add what they orig
Said was a pound low was over 900.00. Rip off artists. Stay away!!

I think they are a ""bait and switch""....called for service on my AC. Charged for a service call...tech did not check out the entire system...refused to go into the attic...wanted $200 a pound for propellant. The next day, contacted another company that fixed 2 small leaks in the attic and charged the system for less than $100 a pound. Custom Mechanical refused to refund the service call, although the tech did not check out the entire system.

Extremely pleased with the work of Custom Mechanical! We had not visited our vacation house in DE in about a month so when we arrived Friday evening (after several weeks of freezing temps!) we found we had no water, a pipe had frozen and burst. I contacted Custom Mechanical, who also services our heat/ac unit, and left a message on v/m as it was after business hours. I received call back w/in 5 minutes and the plumber, Kenneth, arrived 10 minutes later! He fixed the pipe and we had water back on very shortly thereafter, for a very reasonable fee. His card will remain on our fridge for any future mech/plumbing issues. So happy with this company...and Ken! Thank you!!!
