I'm surprised by all the positive reviews - if I could give this zero starts I would.

We hired him to fix a drain line issue, which we believe he did fine. Since the pipes are underneath the house, we don't really know if there's an ongoing issues. Since we can't see the pipes unless we crawl underneath the house. After he did our drain lines, we were having some weird issues with our supply lines so he recommended we replace our supply lines. He gave us a quote and it seemed like a good deal to get all new supply lines.

First of all - we were under the impression we would get our copper supply lines replaced with new copper pipe. Instead, he installed pex. Admittedly, that's our fault because when we looked back at the contract it did mention PEX, but as non-plumbers we had no idea what that meant. To be honest, we didn't know that there were any other types of materials besides copper so we thought that's what we were getting. We wish Curtis could have walked us through it more to be more transparent. It felt a little sleazy. Whatever, it got the job done.

However, in addition to the somewhat sleazy sales pitch. We've still been having issues years later with the work they did.

The work damaged a lot of our walls which we had to repair ourselves. There were obviously leaks in their work because we noticed mold pop up in two separate parts of the house where they had worked. We had to have two separate plumbers come back to repair their work months later. Both of which commented how shoddy the previous work was.

At the end of the job, When his workers were finished all they said was, ""okay we're leaving"" without showing us their work. We asked them to walk us through the work, where we found multiple leaks, and damages. We had to point them out, and only then did they hurriedly fix them. No wonder they didn't want to show us what they did... look at the quality of their work on these photos.

To this day, I am constantly worried that there's a hidden issue under the house or behind the walls that we are yet to uncover.

It's been months since they worked on our plumbing and we're still seeing issues pop up to this day.

Never, ever will we ever hire them or recommend them to anyone.

Replaced a toilet quickly and properly: picked up exactly what we needed, removed old toilet and installed the new one, everything was cleaned up well. Employees all easy to work with, polite and efficient.

After our Noritz Tankless heater stopped working, I was looking for a repair person. I was blessed to meet Curtis at Watanabe plumbing! Curtis had one of his staff come out and check out our unit. He diagnosed the problem quickly and said he would order the parts needed. Curtis communicated during the whole process and kept me updated. Curtis (himself) came out and replace the offending parts. He got us up and running quickly. Cannot recommend this business, enough! I will not waste time and money on anyone else in the future. I highly recommend that this is the person you should call if you have a problem. Thank You Curtis and staff...

We called Curtis Watanabe Plumbing based on a referral from another plumber. Our Noritz tankless water heater needed repair. We contacted Noritz and had the parts sent out (still under warranty). Vince came out to install the parts. He was very efficient and had the job completed and the heater programmed in just a few hours.
Price was reasonable and Vince was very professional. Like others have indicated, call Curtis Watanabe Plumbing first.

Found this company by Nextdoor recommendation Curtis came out and fixed the clogged drain line , great communication and great customer experience, very professional I will definitely use this company again. Highly recommend them for your plumbing issues.

I would'nt call this plumber, he does not return calls or his line is filled and cannot leave a msg. He sends some of his workers who does'nt seem to know what they are doing, talking to one another about the job, should it be this way or that way, oh! I told you so it was this way etc. Also when ever you finally get a hold of him he has all kinds of excuses as to why he did not return the calls. So if you have an emergency don't call him his response will not be taken care of. Why can't he have a secretary to answer the call, after all he is making money off his customers, what kind of business is this!!
So don't call him there are plenty of plumber around that will gladly do the job. I wanted my fauset replaced in less than 30 minutes the job was done, they did not even ask me if it was OK as far as the water pressure, or where my handle should be for me!!! very unprofessional. I will not call him again!

Over the years I have used no less than 5 different plumbers. Some were okay and some were not due to lack of communication and missed appointments. I had an old Takagi tankless unit go out and I needed a replacement quickly. Instead of trying to get a referral from friends and relatives (which seems to be kind of a crap shoot in terms of quality) I asked our realtor who they use whenever they need work on a house they're selling. They referred us to Curtis and I could not have been more pleased. The price to put in a new Noritz tankless unit was fair, but more importantly Curtis and his crew were timely, courteous and easy to talk to. YMMV, but I won't be using any other plumber.

Hot water heater he installed is taking 10 minutes to provide hot water in the morning. Ugh!!!!

I called Curtis to service our Noritz tankless water heater. First of all, Curtis asked questions before coming which shows he's doing due diligence and cutting the time diagnosing the problem. When he came, he was very professional-explained what he found as the problem and also answered our questions. He gave an estimate which is reasonable. He ordered the parts needed for the repair and tried his very best to get them the same day. Understandably, the parts didn't come til next day which is still great in my opinion. His guy came, installed the parts, cleaned up after himself and the best part...the parts ordered were under warranty! On the way out, the service man fixed our front door just because he noticed it needed some tweaking! Overall, just pleasant experience, no surprises, no overcharging! Highly recommend these guys!
