I returned home from a week away at Thanksgiving, weary from my trip and looking forward to a long hot shower. Imagine my surprise when I found there wasn't any! I went outside to open the cabinet in which my hot water heater sat and found it was rusty and leaking and the date on it was 2001. I called my daughter for a recommendation as I knew she was really happy with her plumber, she said ""Mom, they rock!""
I called Nadine at Curtis and was told they could come out that same day, BUT, I had to work all that day and the next.

We made an appointment for the following day. Franky was amazing! He diagnosed that the water heater was just way too old and leaking beyond repair. He recommended a product, and went to his plumbing supply place and picked it up, along with new hoses, a pan in which to put it and a regulation valve for my water supply from the city, as my old one was worn out.

I asked him to check out the high pitched whistle from my toilet which was caused by the incorrect high pressure in my house, so he then fixed that and rebuilt the old broken parts of my toilet, with new parts, so I did not have to replace the toilet.

To top it all off, he did a great tutorial, better than any professor, about how my entire water system works, how to turn which valves off in an earthquake and best of all, I know this company will be there for me for a long time. They were started as, and still are, a family business and has been in existence since 1940. If I could give 10 stars I would.

They told us they would only charge $45 to come see what the problem is. After the plumber showed up he said it would cost us an additional $120 because he had to snake the toilet. He never told us this before he actually did it. I found another plumbing company who would come for free to see what the issue is. I feel dumb for not looking into other companies and just going with this company just because Kohler referred me to them. I just called another company who will be at my house in an hour free of charge. I don't like hidden fees. Also everything they quoted us was overpriced and expensive. Not cool. He told us we would have to spend over $1500 (at least) to buy a new toilet and fix our issue. I'm looking at toilet prices now and the good ones range at $300. Very bad experience for me.

We had a friend's 60th birthday party tonight. At 4:30pm I walked into our furnace room -- where our hot water heater is also located -- and found a hot water leak pouring onto the floor. Called Curtis who I found in the actual Yellow Pages. Their plumber, Matt, was at our home within the hour, diagnosed the issue as a pinhole in the hotwater line, gave us a far estimate and had it repaired and our water back on in time to shower and make our friends birthday party.

Matt was nice, polite, and really knew his stuff. Curtis will be our very first call for our plumbing needs in the future. -- Mark B.

It was DEFCON 1 here this morning as we experienced a main line stoppage. I called Curtis Plumbing and their employee Chase was here within an hour. Chase was absolute top notch: skilled, accurate and polite. He worked hard the whole time he was here and didn't stop until everything was fixed and perfect. Great work.

Matt came over to assess a problem with a tankless water heater and did a fabulous job. He answered my numerous questions and offered solutions. He was prepared to come in with booties on his feet as well. He was one of the best service people we have ever had in our home. We are yet to decide to do the repair, but if we do we are going with these guys.

Called today for service and was told that they would come out for $160 to do a diagnostic test. First off they were the most expensive, but i had them come anyway because everyone else could not come for hours. the technician arrived and did not even do anything!! He had to call someone else and only described what type of unit it was and never touched the waterheater. He never ran a diagnostic test on it at all. He told me it would be $2,800 to fix a water heater that only cost me less than a $1,000!

Today I called due to a problem with my water heater. I was told there would be a fee for a diagnostic check the representative came out and he literally just looked at the unity took a picture of the serial number and said that there was nothing they could do. That's not worth $160 also when did diagnostics and visual checks become 1 in the same things.

The pipe to our toilet burst and flooded the bathroom and part of our house; had to get it fixed urgently, at 9:30PM, Matt from Curtis turned up and fixed it within 10 minutes.
It was perhaps a little pricey for the job but considering the late hour and the short notice, I felt like it was a fair call - and Matt even gave me a close to exact quote for the job on the phone before he showed up.
Quick and solid service. Recommended.

They installed a kitchen faucet a few years ago at my house. The faucet has now worn out with normal wear and tear and I had it replaced yesterday. In looking at the old paperwork, I see that Curtis charged almost 3 times as much for the installation as the plumber did yesterday.

We have used Curtis Plumbing for about 7 years now at my commercial property for all plumbing related issues.

They've resolved issues as small as clogs and as large as domestic water booster pump rebuilds for my 40,000 sqft, 6 floor property.

I really enjoy working with everyone here.
Nadine usually answers my calls and is awesome!
Matt is always a call away with answers to plumbing related questions.
I usually work with Frankie and he has always been super quick to calls and resolved most issues immediately. Very friendly team and very courteous.

I'd recommend them for any commercial related issues.
I have not used them for residential but I'm sure they would do a great job as well.
