I noticed extremely wet soil in an area of my back yard and didn't know where it was coming from. After digging around the route of the exterior water pipes I finally discovered where the leak was. After removing dirt from not only the area under the hole but 2 feet in each direction from it, I called to get estimates. One guy came out and even though I've already done the bulk of the work, the digging and identification of the hole, he gave an estimate of $250-$300. I felt that was way too high. Going back to yelp I got in contact with another plumber and was able to get him to agree to an estimate over the phone after texting him pictures of the area. His estimate was worse, between $300-$350. I went back to yelp yet again and discovered John of Currier Plumbling. I was a bit skeptical because there were no recent reviews (the latest was from 2018). I called him up anyway and he answered immediately. He gave me a flat cost of $175 (no range) and said he could be at my house in 30 to 45 minutes. He arrived 25 minutes later and repaired the pipe. Quick, cheaper, and didn't give me misinformation or play me for a fool like the other 2 guys. My impression of John is that he's nice and honest. I will be calling him again if I have any other plumbing problems but I'm also planning on remodeling so he'll be hearing from me for sure.

Sorry this review is so old; didn't know I could leave one until I looked up Currier Plumbing on Internet. Currier repaired a broken water line in our front yard, replaced it with new copper piping. Did a really difficult job extremely well at a very reasonable cost. Appreciated the skill, courtesy and hard work a whole lot.

Currier came recommended by a friend and now I understand why. Gary and Fred showed up on time, introduced themselves and got right to work. I felt like two old friends I trust showed up to help me out. Personable and very professional. They crawled under the house and found the problem immediately. They explained the issue and proposed the solution. Their prices are fair and work quality was outstanding. They even shop vacced out all the stinky water under my house which immediately removed the smell in the house. Thanks Gary, Fred and John.

Spoke to a few plumbers about re-piping all that's under the slab and connect it to the pipes that leads to my bathrooms upstairs, and John was the only one that came out with a better plan on how to run those new pipes. Inexperience plumbers doesn't tell you exactly where and how they're gonna run the new pipes, and others are just counting how many holes they make and how much they charge per footage(pipes) installed. Gary and Fred executed exactly what John planned to do and it turned out perfectly, even the patch and texture blended perfectly from the original texture. Gary and Fred are exceptionally professional. They go beyond their boundary and take pride of their excellent work. It is hard to find honest to goodness plumber these days but Currier Plumbing is one of those kind. Highly Recommended!!! Their price is right too. Check them out before you commit to a sweet talking plumber like a car salesman.

Tankless water heater needed flushing. John educated me on system over the phone. He arrived within the time frame given. Got straight to work. Did not try to do any add on sales. Left his work area as clean as it was when he arrived. Highly recommend Currier Plumbing.

John from currier plumbing came out to my house today to replace my old water heater. Yes, it's Christmas Eve and he came right out and got it done! No extra charges, very reasonable up front price, no surprises ( just a pleasant one that John is a true pro and had this done start to finish in what seemed like minutes). Very solid guy with great customer service. It's nice to see an exceptional professional at my house instead of some untrained kid who seem to be the norm these days no matter where I go! I can't say enough good things. Call John if you need a great plumber!
