After receiving estimates from 3 other plumbing contractors for a fairly simple task - replacement of a water heater, I am so grateful I found Curoso Plumbing. Some other contractors sent out fellows who were schmoozy at best, and just dishonest at worst - upselling, generally wasting my time.
Jim Curoso called me back promptly, gave me a verbal estimate over the phone, sent Mario to my home the next day. Mario was respectful, knowledgeable and replaced the water heater within 2 hours. The price was $2,000 less than two of my other estimates. How refreshing!

Prompt response and fixed price quote for replacement of a 50 gal. Natural gas Water heater. Informative telephone conversation with owner Jim Curoso; scheduled installation. Installer Mario arrived on time and completed the replacement in about 3 hours. Included new earthquake straps and drain pan. Service was friendly and professional, including a discussion on operation, draining and maintenance. I picked this plumber because it is a local business with extraordinary Yelp ratings. I was not disappointed. Next plumbing job, I'll call Curoso.

Called at 8pm for a bad water heater, and had an appointment for 8am the next morning. Mario was punctual, very good at explaining what needed to be done and why, and was courteous with good COVID manners (important!)
The work done was fantastic and tidy, and we're very happy.

Fantastic service - we had a tannate with a clogged sewer line and they only had one bathroom - within a couple hours from the first phone call everything was unclogged. We very much recommend Curoso Plumbing - and thank you to Mario for his prompt and great service.

I called Curoso Plumbing in the late evening for a shower that was spewing out sewage when using my washing machine. My phone call was received promptly and I received an appt for the following day with a 2hr window. Mario showed up on time and took the time to explain what he was going to do to solve the issue. He was courteous , professional, and quickly solved my problem.

Nothing but great things to say about Curoso Plumbing. Called Jim to schedule an appointment to repair a shower valve that needed to be adjusted (no hot water). To my surprise, I was able to get an appointment on the same day within an hour - especially given Covid. Dan came over to in full PPE (covid protocols) and fixed the issue in less than an hour. Super fast, very reliable, excellent customer service, and great to work with. Thanks Dan and Curoso Plumbing - will definitely call Curoso Plumbing again!

Another good review. Isaac and Nick came out a little early (which was great for me), sized up the job of replacing an old regular tanked water heater with a tankless water heater, went and got parts, and had it installed by noon. Nice work and nice guys. They worked with me on where I'd like the vent and condense line.

Regarding tankless: I've had it a few days now and it provides endless hot water. That is a luxury. I don't have to think about when the dishwasher runs, or laundry, or my wife's bath when I take a shower. It is more efficient and uses less gas. It is a more ""green"" solution but don't think it will be more cost effective. The equipment and installation is more than twice as much as a tanked version, even with a credit on you taxes you can get. It will take a long time to pay for the extra cost, if ever.

Good work deserves a good review, even if it's brief! Our water heater was showing the signs that it was on its last legs back in April 2020. They came out and replaced it with an equivalent size and quality heater. It works just as intended - cold water in, hot water out. It was largely a 'contactless' transaction due to covid protocols, so I didn't get to stand in the garage looking over the installer's shoulder, Mr. Supervisor that I tend to be, and I'm sure he was glad of it! :) Replacement was fast and perfectly done. Thank you!

Jim and his teammate (sorry, I didn't capture his name), were great. We bought a new stove to replace a 30 year old one that was original to the house without realizing that the new one would stick out too far due to our gas line. Because of that issue, our dishwasher would no longer fully open as the door kept bumping into the stove. When I realized there was no way to purchase a stove with a shorter depth and the only way to fix the issue was the gas line, I called Curoso Plumbing for a quote. The dispatcher told me she would send the plumber my issue and someone would get back to me. Jim returned my call within 10 minutes and was at my home to do the actual repair within 30 minutes! Talk about quick service! Both professionals were masked up, efficient, talked me through the process and even engaged with my toddler who kept curiously entering the kitchen to watch what they were working on. Would definitely use them again and highest recommendations for them to anyone looking for someone to do this type of work. Thanks guys!

Called them with an emergency. After hours on a Friday night if course! We had a pipe burst and they were here within 30 mins. The repair guy they sent was Dan, who was very nice. We all decided that he'd come back the next day for the repair being it was cold, dark, and late once we got the water to stop. Unfortunately he wasn't able to come at the originally planned time the next day, but was extremely communicative on his new planned time. He ended up running late from his prior job, which we completely understood and just appreciated his communication in letting us know and keeping us informed. We will definitely call them again in the future.
