Cupertino Plumbing did end-to-end copper re-piping of our 2 story 3 bath home. Dave and his fellow plumbers were always on time, courteous, respected our property and cleaned up end of every day they were in.

Dave has amazing dexterity with soldering and not even a single leak was found when the house was turned around. There were significant amount of Sheetrock that had to be cut and it was kept to a minimum and their Sheetrock person who came to patch did a fantastic job with matching the texture of interior walls and in 2 spots of the outside stucco.

Initially we had intended on installing mini shower bidet systems in toilets which at least 2 other local plumbers had agreed to do when they were bidding on the job. Frank is very familiar with building codes. That helped us in picking a bidet system that would pass any building inspection. In addition to re-piping, they installed 3 Sanicare hot-cold bidet systems in our toilets. Hot water connections had to be run new and Dave did a super neat job.

These guys didn't bid the lowest for our job, neither did they have a high yelp rating when we checked. They had re-piped at least 2 other houses in our immediate neighborhood and those homeowners had nothing but good to say about the quality work they perform. That along with the lifetime warranty, 2: one rough, the other final, inspections by the city, detailed work order written out at the time of the bid made us decide to give the job to them and they delivered!

I drove home to see a little creek running through my garage. Uh-oh -- it's the water heater.

I found Cupertino Plumbing had a good rating in Bay Area Checkbook so I called. They were there within an hour, installed a new water heater quickly, for a fair price.

Fast, fair, courteous, did great work.

Several years ago I had Cupertino Plumbing re-pipe my house with copper plumbing. Things went along fine until recently when I had a pin hole leak in a wall that caused significant damage. The plumber who fixed it says that it was most likely caused by a connection that not properly reamed leaving burrs in to vibrate and cause a hole to form. (Validated that point with several plumbers)
OK, I can see one bad connection being missed, but less than a year later another one just occurred. This one in a hot water pipe under the house. The damage that this has caused is still being determined. The job of repairing the damage and cleaning it up because of the leak and the resulting humidity is still underway and will most likely be several thousand.
To add to those two problems the plumbers found that the recirculating hot water system was not installed properly. Another $300+ repair bill. I am now faced with the choice of having to redo their re-pipe job or face new problems down the road.
Unfortunately, I also had them re-pipe two other relatives houses and not sure what problems will come from those jobs.

Caveat Emptor!!!!

I am a general contractor. I was tired of use the flakey typical plumbers I have found in the past. I found Cupertino Plumbing in the yellow pages and since I was born and raised in Cupertino I gave them a shot. As in every project I do there were some minor problems. But you come to expect that in construction. You take a deep breath and talk with the contractor and figure out the best possible solution. Customers that think that since they hire a professional that there won't be any problems crack me up. I found Cupertino Plumbing very professional and very competent of the job given to them. I continue to use them for all my plumbing needs. Sure they are a little pricey, but just like with everything in life. You get what you pay for.

if i could give this place zero stars i would. do not go here, i repeat, do not go here!! we had cupertino plumbing come out a few years ago to redo the showers in both bathrooms as well as redo the plumbing under the sink in our kitchen. they took over six months to complete these tasks and only wrapped it up after being threatened to sue. here we are a few years later gradually redoing all of the ""work"" they did. the floor of one of the bathrooms was not finished properly, meaning with wood leading to water damage. most recently, we had to redo the plumbing under the sink.
when our new dependable, professional plumber came in to do the work, he thought the job prior had been done by a want-to-be-handyman/house owner. the pipe was not to code thus causing the problems of a leaky sink.... and of course the floor damage caused by the leak. after 1.5 hours we were back in business for less money and a ""to code"" pipe.
i give shoutouts when deserved, but to save you, who is currently reading this, save your time, save your money, save your frustrations down the road, and save your sanity.... GO ELSEWHERE!!!

I just had them repipe my house with all new copper pipes and they did a great job. They came when they said they would and worked hard all day. They got the very large job done in the amount of time expected. I watched the repiping specialist putting some of the welding together and he did fabulous work. I worked with mostly him and the son's owner, who were both very respectful and courteous.

Man, horrible service. Called about an emergency leak on the 4th of July. Would have expected a delay due to the holiday. It has been 2 hrs. without a call from a technician, in spite the fact I called back a second time to reiterate that this was an emergency. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I'm glad I wound up going elsewhere at this point.

Cupertino Plumbing did our repipe a few years ago and at the same time we put in a new water heater. Two weeks ago the pilot went out. Frank came out that day and put in a new thermocouple. The next day the pilot went out several times.Frank came out two more times without charging us. There really was no way he could have known that there were other problems. He mentioned a couple to us the first time but it didn't make sense to pay to get all sorts of things fixed until we knew what was wrong. The heater seems to be fixed and is running well.

This posting is my public thanks to Frank for taking care of us and being reasonable about not charging us - and not even mentioning it. Classy.

I am so disappointed on the service provided by Cupertino Plumbing. The job was to in replace sinks in all the bathrooms. We provided the sinks and faucets and so it was only lar. We have 3.5 bathrooms and after 2 weeks we still do not have one fully functional bathroom. The tech is supposed to have 20 years experience. But am very diappointed. Out of frustration, I had to have another plumbing company (diamond certified this time) complete the job.

I don't like to write negative reviews but these people deserve it. In a nutshell: one simple problem, three visits (two were late) and one no show. They are good at charging on time but seem to have a problem standing behind their work. Judging by some of their other reviews, they seem to be good on jobs they like (big expensive ones) and not so good with the day to day stuff.
