We needed to create a new water connection to our refrigerator. Cupertino Plumbing sent out Jose. Jose know immediately how it create a new connection. The entailed cutting a new hole in the wall behind the refrigerator and installing new pipes. Jose completed all the work in 90 minutes. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. Anytime I need a plumber Jose is the man.

This review is long overdue. Shortly after moving to our new home in Willow Glen last summer, we needed to do a repipe project. As this wonderful home has built in 1946 and still had galvanized plumbing. We did our due diligence and selected Cupertino Plumbing due to the years of experience, use of high quality plumbing products and the lifetime gaurantee they offer to futher stand behind the work they do.

Additionally, Frank Cardia did a wonderful job meeting with us for the first time to discuss the process, what to expect, and answer any and all questions we had. Additionally, he provide us with a list of references which helped in confirming this company was the right fit for us.

From start to finish, his crew was very respectful of our home and took special care to clean up at the end of each day and address any questions we had that arose as they were doing the job. Robert & Eric were outstanding to shepherd this project from start to finish!

Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family!

Frank repiped my 4plex in 2004. I have had several leaks in the cooper pipes he replaced and call him for a quote to fix the problem. He kept saying he would get out there, one excuse after another and to this date I still do not have a quote from him or his workers. Very dissatified. Must just like the big jobs.

Frank provided same day visit to give quote on complete home repiping to copper. At 8k we agreed and we scheduled work a few weeks in advance. The plan went as scheduled /expected. Have great quality and pressure is restored. The workers were a good team, worked without any issues. Thanks for the great service, worth the price.

When putting in new drainage pipes at our home we hit the main water line to the house. It's a flexible polypropylene pipe. I called several plumbing companies and asked specifically if they were familiar with repairs to poly pipe. The person I talked to at Cupertino pluming said he would send out Bill who would be able to correctly fix my poly pipe. I had gone earlier in the day with a piece of the pipe to a recommended supply store and got the correct fitting for that pipe, but the gap was too big and it needed two of them. I told whoever I talked to at Cupertino plumbing what the supply store had told me and sold me so they would bring the right parts.

On arrival the couplings Bill brought were too small. He took a piece of the poly pipe and left for the parts store. On returning he spent an hour trying to get the second set of parts to work, but each time we turned the water on they leaked. Finally he decided they were the wrong parts. I offered to go back the the place I got the first coupling, which was the correct part, and get another coupling but Bill wanted to go to his supplier.

When he came back this time he did a ""hose repair"" inserting 2 barbed mail fittings into the pipe and using hose clamps to hold them on then ran copper pipe between them. This left me with a restriction in my pipe where the barbed inserts reduce the pipe dimension. I could tell I had reduced flow the minute I turned my outside faucet on.

For this I got charged $600 ($592). Bill charged me for only 3.5 hours. I called Frank (the owner) and said that 1) this was not a correct poly fitting repair, 2) 3.5 hours seemed excessive for something that had he had the correct fitting would have take 30 - 60 minutes. His response (after talking to Bill) was that Bill had 5.5 hours into the job and that 3.5 was all I was charged for so I've already been compensated and that my flow isn't reduced that much and Bill has 30 years experience and knows what he's doing.

Bottom line is he did not know how to correctly fix the poly pipe and did not make that repair correctly, he just ""got our water back on"" which he thought was most important. In actuality I could have made the repair the way he did it. I've fixed plenty of hoses.

Everyone was courteous and friendly, but I didn't not get what I asked for or wanted. Overcharged and dissatisfied with the work.

Bill is by far the best! He's come to my house twice and both times I was more than satisfied.

First time he fixed my upstairs sink and today he fixed my disposal that was broken. It was leaking and spraying water from everywhere! He came out within 4 hours of my calling this morning. Excellent service!

We were doing a big addition to the house, and realized that we had to change the sewer under the addition. This was a crazy problem of f not tearing down the house just built !

I looked around from trenchless solution and of the two three i called,
Frank was knowledgeable . The price was in the middle. I selected them for the very clear communications, guarantee of work for lifetime, and simply the confidence that
everything will be done with permits and he had understood all the specific details of that job site.

Specific mention of the great service was that The line was replaced within 3 days, without a single hiccup. Frank came to my workplace (15 miles from the job site) , to talk about the job and sign the papers. Only a company that has been around for a few decades can give a long time guarantee . Five stars - cant find a single item to deduct any points!

I just had Cupertino Plumbing re-pipe my new house with copper. I got 5 quotes and had spoken to 3 contractors before talking to Frank, the owner, about doing the job. I could tell that Frank was extremely knowledgable which made me feel confident about hiring Cupertino Plumbing for the job. Frank came to my home and explained everything to me. I not only decided to hire them based on having 50 years experience, but also because they were the only company that would put everything back together. Other contractors were going to tear up my sidewalk, driveway, and not replace drywall inside the house. Cupertino Plumbing was the only company that had a machine that wouldn't require my sidewalk and driveway to be torn up. Other companies not only would tear them up, but wouldn't put them back together.

Robert and Eric did the copper re-piping and did a fantastic job. They were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Both have over 10 years experience in the industry and I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and would do a great job. They did not disappoint! They treated my home as if it were their own and always cleaned up afterwards. Again, they did such a fantastic job. The person that came to fix the exterior stucco and interior drywall was also very friendly and did a great job. He went out of his way to move a hose wheel from the front of the house to the side for me.

When Eric was under the house, he noticed that my waste pipes had some leaks and the pipes were stressed. Frank arranged for Angel to come out and take a look the next day, Angel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and showed me the condition of the pipes. The pipes were in very poor condition and I was happy that they were going to be replaced. Angel has over 10 years experience and I felt confident the job was going to be done right. Angel did not disappoint and did a fantastic job.

In addition, Frank called me after all the work was done to make sure I was happy with the service. Cupertino Plumbing may not be the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay more to have the job done right. I would highly recommend Cupertino Plumbing and would not hesitate to hire them again,

This review is about water repiping, not any other service.

For some reason, only half the place was repiped to copper, while the other half was still galvanized metal. We called Frank (the owner), and he came by to give us a free estimate on how much it would cost to replace the remaining pipes. He told us it would be a two-day job, and we went ahead and scheduled it.

On the first day of work, two people came and started laying out the new copper pipes, but did not switch over the water system. This is standard procedure to minimize the amount of time the water has to be shut off. Unfortunately, because the space under one of the bathrooms was very tight, they didn't have enough space to route an alternate pipe. Thus they had to take out an existing pipe and shut off the water for an hour. Not too troublesome, they let us know ahead of time and it was back in on in an hour. They also let us know what work they'd be doing throughout the day, especially if it was a reroute.

On the second day, they switched over to the new copper lines and the water was off for a good half a day. After completing the switch over, they tested the new lines by running the water and flushing the air that was built up in the pipes. They did leave some of the old pipes in the crawlspace, but removed all unused exterior faucets. After the piping was done and tested, the drywall repair guy came to patch all the holes that were made. This included drywall cutouts, drill holes, and mesh screens. He seemed to be under extreme time pressure because he was running late, but he still kept cool and dealt with each issue we pointed out rather than coming back the next day. That was definitely appreciated.

A few days later, we noticed a leak at the connection from the main water supply into the home, which was part of their repiping job. The only way to stop it from leaking was to turn off the main water into the home. We called them about it, and they were able to fix it the next morning. Since then, we've had no other water pipe problems.
