Scott K.Our sump discharge line froze over the winter which caused our sump motor to overheat and fail. Cupco came out the next day, replaced the my sump and battery backup system. They cut the pipe going directly to the sewer and gave me a quote for replacing the 1.5"" line with newly coded 4"" pipe. It took a couple months for them to get back out until the ground was thawed enough and also dry enough so my yard wouldn't be totally ruined from the equipment. They stayed in contact with me pretty much every week, letting me know they're watching the weather, etc. GREAT company. Fantastic service, affordable pricing, great communication. I will call no one else for plumbing needs in the future. My new discharge line is in and working perfectly. Highly recommend.
I hired Cupco Plumbing INC to fix a hot water issue in my bathroom shower ( Cold Water coming from Shower) . I research this on line and problem was likely a shower cartridge . Matt from Cupco explained the cartridge and shower valve that was connected to the cartridge was corroded and need to be replaced . He showed me green corrosion on the valve . Matt said a hole was needed to be cut out in the dry wall behind the shower to gain access to that valve to replace . I asked Matt what this was going to cost and he said $800 . I agreed to have the hole cut in the wall and shower valve and cartridge replaced . 20 minutes later he said I have more problems . He cut a hole in wall and installed 2 shutoff ball valves to the shower . He never removed the shower valve or furnish and installed a new domestic shower cartridge . He said he needed to come back at a later date and that I needed the valve , cartridge and single handle shower trim kit that was also damaged replaced . He said the bill was $1235 . I questioned why the bill was so high . He said he went above and beyond to try and clean that valve out so he didn't have to cut a hole in the wall . He said the valve was badly corroded and preventing water pressure . I told him I had good water pressure , just cold water . He said the valve was preventing hot water . I asked if there was going be any additional charges when he comes back and he said another $1000 to complete the job . Water was turned back on and he left . I called Chad from Cupco and told him I was overcharged, cancelling the call back and hiring another plumber . I hired another plumber and explained what happened . He said he has replaced numerous shower cartridges and there was always green corrosion on the valve . He said its normal oxidation . He turned off the water , removed the 2 shutoff ball valves in the wall . He said it was not code to have the shutoff valves in the wall . He replaced the shower cartridge only and reinstalled my existing shower single handle . Water back on with great pressure and hot water . He said the valve has nothing to do with hot water pressure . The cartridge does the mixing of hot / cold water . He charge me $300 . He told me Cupco was ripping me off . The valve was good and it did not need to be replaced. Cupco was using that green oxidation on the valve as part of there scam / scare tactics and now I have a hole in my wall that I needs to be fixed . So Cupco was trying to charge me at least $2235 for $300 JOB . They got my money , but if I prevent one person from steering clear of Cupco Plumbing . Its a victory .
Dan B.Highly recommend Cupco Plumbing. Wife was on me to get the guest shower fixed and I waited to the last min before the Holidays to DIY. What a mistake! Ended up shutting the water to entire house. Contacted Cupco and they came the next morning and resolved the issue along with a few other things that I've been putting off. Professional, and very reasonable. Will use them again.

They are responsive & price competitive ... yup, some might say expensive but yikes - we are not plumbers! My hubby is very handy but he's not a plumber & certainly cannot fix these situations! We needed a defunct water softener removed, a leak repaired, and he found a few other minor concerns - took care of all of it in one service call for me. Outstanding work and service. Matt installed a new water heater, and replaced a outdoor faucet handle. He quoted and confirmed the details of the job and carefully answered my questions. I highly recommend this company. Thanks to Matt for his professionalism and good work!
Chad Cupal owner of Cupco plumbing sent one of his guys to my house. They quoted me almost 1000 to rout out a very easily accessed clean out. I told his guy to leave and called Chad. When I questioned his pricing. He hung up on me, then proceeded to text me on my personal phone berating me. When I didn't respond, he decided to charge my credit card 300 dollars, because he had my cars number. I contacted the local police and filed charges for theft against him. He admitted to the police that he took the money because he was frustrated. Is this the kind of business you run? Very unprofessional.
kathy m.Thank you Chad for the Sunday rescue! You called me back within the hour and arrived within 2 hours. You did a thorough inspection and when you said its not the hot water tank it looks like foundation water. My light bulb went off and realized the sump pump was not working!. You installed a brand new one you had on your truck, new piping and a check valve. You took the old one away with you too. You waited 15 mins to be sure everything was working and the pit was draining before you left.

They are amazing! I needed a well water treatment solution and Cupco helped me pick a great, affordable solution and came out to install it quickly! They were friendly, professional, honest and were Covid ready-wearing safety equipment (masks, shoe covers, etc). I've been wary of many companies, and have had other companies try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge on plumbing or electric issues in the past. Chad and Matt were exceptional! They took the time to answer questions and explain things. I am beyond happy with my experience and I've asked them to come back to help with installing a garbage disposal and reverse osmosis system. I highly recommend this company!
Very poor experience. This is clearly a company that sniffs out opportunities to take advantage of people. When I hire a company, I base my decision on trust and value. Can I trust this company around my family? Are they providing fair value for the service? In my case we were completely taken advantage of. I would not recommend this company to provide any services. Additionally, I would be concerned with Cupco's safety practices. The technician paid no attention to COVID protocol. Companies have a responsibility to practice safe protocol, especially considering they do not know if someone in the household is high risk.
