Bob Cunningham, the founder and president, began his career in the heating and air conditioning sector in 1977 after graduating with honors from Marquette University. He launched Cunningham Associates in 2003 and has built it into one of the most respected businesses in the industry. Outside of work, Bob is deeply involved in community activities. He is currently serving a second term on the Board of Trustees at Trinity School. He has also completed an 11-year term in the past. His efforts are directed towards supporting the mission of The Shepherd Center, especially the SHARE Military Initiative Program that aids veterans and active-duty military with traumatic brain injuries. I have used Cunningham & Associates since they opened their doors over 10 years ago. Beyond that, the owner, Bob Cunningham, is someone who I have trusted for my HVAC needs since 1980--that's 36 years folks. They are completely top-notch, ethical, responsive, and stand behind their work. The latest example of their great service was yesterday. My wife and I returned home from a holiday around 14:30 to find our upstairs unit had stopped working. It was 86 degrees up there. We immediately called Cunningham & Associates, and by 17:00 they had our super regular service guy--Roger--on the scene. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and we were back in cooling mode before 18:00. That's 3.5 hours from discovering we had a problem, to it being fixed, and on a sweltering hot day where I know they were already plenty busy. We love Cunningham & Associates and would be hard pressed to recommend any outfit in any business more highly.

Professional service on-site. Always tell you what's going on with your HVAC units. They give you an honest price and don't try to upsell you on something you don't need. Highly recommend them.

Cannot say enough good things about this company. Waylon was wonderful with everything from walking us through our options to ensuring that the job was done to our complete satisfaction. We used them for replacement of heating/air units as well as replacement of our hot water heater, and the technicians for both were top notch. You will not be disappointed if you choose Cunningham Associates. Thanks to you all for a job well done!

They installed a new furnace unit for me this week. They were on time, professional, and very courteous. My old furnace was very old and very large, and I know it was a nightmare to remove from a small space. The technicians did a great job and I will recommend them to everyone from now on!

Scheduled a routine maintenance check and was asked to be on premises in person (which is a hassle during work hours) just to realize that technician never showed up. Call the service desk and was told the technician will get in touch with me, which did not happened. Tried to call customer service again and the system would not let the call go through due to heavy calls volume (on Wednesday afternoon). Customer service is unprofessional, can't speak to technical performance. Would not recommend since hard to get a hold off.

Do yourself a favor and hire a different company to service your HVAC system. They will overcharge you and take blatant advantage of your lack of knowledge when it comes to your HVAC system. I was charged for a capacitor that I later learned was under warranty, AFTER asking the tech if it qualified for the manufactures warranty. After calling around, their prices for a replacement were about twice as much as others in the area. Unfortunately I was desperate because its 95 degrees out right now so I trusted them to fix my air conditioning the honest and professional way. When I called 2 hours later to ask for a partial refund for the capacitor that should have been free, the manager Nick Lott told me they would only refund a small portion. I asked for the owner, he said there was no one above him and to contact the BBB if I didn't like his answer. I also asked for my original capacitor to be returned to me so I could have another company test it to see if it was actually faulty and ironically it had """"already been thrown away."""" Imagine that!

Have used them in the past and did good work. Now we have an AC unit die and we call them and they say someone can come out that same day. Well nobody showed up. Call the next day and told """"we never have it here that someone was coming out yesterday"""". Ok mistakes happen. So they schedule for the following morning. Next day....no show. Call to find out what's going on """"oh we don't even have you on the schedule for today, will need to get with the dispatcher on this, not sure when we can get you on the schedule"""" You know what....if you are super busy in the middle of the summer I understand that. Lots of AC units needing repair during this heat wave. But don't give people BS and say you are coming to take care of something and then don't. That's just bad customer service. Now our poor tenants have been frying in the house for days waiting for someone to show and they never show. Now we have wasted three days that we could have gotten another company in there. Unreal.

Everything was running fine. I just wanted regular a seasonal check and my longtime HVAC guy had just retired. They did what I believe was unnecessary work, possibly billed for work not done such as claiming replacement of parts that were already new, (they took everything away) claimed to have added many pounds of refrigerant, even though system was cooling perfectly in June. Second time I've used them and both times they replaced the same thing. My bill was over $1000. Tech also insisted I desperately, immediately needed new electrical breaker for $350 more. I declined, but did have a licensed electrician check later. He said it was ridiculous. Everything was working and up to code. I'm still searching the world for an honest HVAC person, like Diogenes with his lamp. Cunningham does a lot of work in my neighborhood. I think some people like paying a lot of money, and think that means they got good work. I'll bet if I had them come out again for another seasonal check, they would run the bill up to another $1000.

We have been using Cunningham since we purchased our home a year ago, and they have been top notch the entire time! They are incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. Their employees go above and beyond. We recently had some work done by Michael, Kyle, Denise, and another technician whose name I am forgetting (he installed a light in our unit to get rid of mold). They all did a great job, and Denise and the technician with her stayed at our house until 7:30PM on a Friday night to finish the job, without any complaint! Highly recommend.

Love everything about all the employees at Cunningham. Every service call is an educational experience as they go out of their way to explain issues and or ways to improve preventative maintenance. Each person I have ever dealt with was well groomed, clean and respectful. Bob Cunningham is known for coming to the aid of someone in need on nights or weekends, if it is an emergency.
