These folks were great!! Timely response and work completion on our busted water heater. They also fixed a shower that dripped to much. I really liked the owner, he was honest and open about the work and even with dealing with our home warranty company. I highly recommend them.

With all the rain we've had this year my basement needed some serious Waterproofing and new downspouts to redirect the water away from the house. In August 2017 I got 3 contractor estimates. I settled on Cummings Plumbing & Excavating who stated in his advertising and told me in person that he had 45 years experience. Little did I know that with all that experience this contractor would make a colossal mistake. He connected the downspout pipe to the sewer line and I didn't find out about this error until days later. I was appalled and disgusted that he could make such a mistake when he claimed to have that much experience. To add insult to injury he had the audacity to tell me he would return another day to correct this problem as the ground was too wet. I felt this was an emergency because I had sewage shooting out of one pipe onto my lawn in the back of my house. It was disgusting and unsanitary. Since I had already paid him thousands of dollars for this project I felt I had no other choice but to wait for him to fix it correctly. He did return after several days later then dug up my yard again, damaging my hedges and lawn. He cleaned up the sewage, filled in the area with dirt and reconnected the pipes correctly. This has been a traumatic experience and that's why I'm sharing it so other homeowners will be very cautious before hiring Cummings Plumbing & Excavating or trusting his 45 years of experience. Whatever happened to customer service as this guy didn't even apologize for making such a major mistake!
