Karen L.I am a renter whose landlord preferred having the roots cleaned out yearly than replacing the sewer line.. Like clockwork every early summer it backs up into the downstairs. My sister recommended Tim who came did a great job
cleaned out the line and charged the quoted price 2 years in a row.
For the 3rd year in 2020 it happened so as always I called Tim who (horrors) was sick and couldn't come. So my landlady called another plumber
he came and cleaned the sewer line and the very next day it backed up again because he didn't go far enough. (I had told him Tim goes out 100ft ): So he came back with an attitude to redo it. Well if he had listened to what Tim did
it would have been over and done the first day.
So bottom line is if you have clogged drains or sewer this Tim is the man to call. One and done. Excellent workmanship. And Im pretty safe in saying that Tim would do a great job on any kind of plumbing work because he is honest and fair.
These guys are awesome. Called Tim in the morning and was able to come same afternoon. Always helps me out of a bind. Tim and Tre showed up with masks, did an awesome job, did not leave a mess behind. Definitely my go-to place when I need a help.
I had a main drain clog that it was causing water to back up into the kitchen sink & in to my basement from the laundry drain connection. It was a Monday around noon. I call a couple of plumbers in the area, but no one could show up the same day. I saw Tim's add at Yelp with 5 stars reviews & decided to call him. He was in my house in less than 2 hours. He looked at the problem, explain what he was going to do & how much it was going to cost beforehand. A fair price considering it was an emergency call & the type of work. No surprise charges, no last-minute changes on the price. Finish the job in a timely matter. Tim was very professional, friendly & respectful. Do not look any further this is your guy!
Professional, Reliable, Reasonable Price. Best plumbing service I've dealt with. Highly Recommend.
Robert H.Tim was amazing from start to finish! We had a major clog in our main sewer line (in yard outside house), caused by a combination of ROOTS and ICE forming around the roots. We worked with two other ""local"" plumbers - one who didn't have the right equipment (high-power jetter), and the other said the problem was ""too big"" and the whole 50-foot sewer line needed replacing (which is really not feasible in depths of winter, not to mention the cost and time involved). We were feeling really desperate and stuck - with sewage backing into the floor of first floor shower, every time we ran a moderate amount of water anywhere in the house.
Tim responded to my message almost immediately at 6pm one night, talked through the issue, gave me a quote via phone (without being asked), and then came out at 10am the next morning. He immediately got to work in a very organized, focused, and determined way. His confidence and skill was so different from the other local plumbers... it was like nothing was going to stop him from clearing this problem!
It took him about 40-50 minutes of work with the jetter, and then suddenly a torrent of ice and roots and sewage came running back through the pipe!! Blockage cleared!! After that, he spent another 90+ minutes cleaning and ""scoring"" the complete sewer line, from house to property line, with the jetter and also a high-quality video snake. In addition to the one main block, we had various levels of root growth at almost every join on 5' sections of old clay pipe, for a 20-30 foot stretch. Tim was really thorough - spotting areas that weren't fully cleared (via video), and attacking them with the jetter, then back to verify via video again.
In the end, I bet you might be able roll a marble through the pipe! I stood and watched most of the time, because I'm interested in learning and also it was fascinating. But I didn't need to, because he offered to video the whole thing if I just brought a flash drive outside. In the end I wished I had done that, because it was so effective of a job.
Finally... After all that, he wrote the bill and it was exactly as quoted via phone, the night before. I felt like giving him a hug!
CT Sewer Rooter may be the most professional service I've used in the past few years! Prompt and reliable. Thank you.
This review is long overdue. Last year I had sewage backing up in my first floor shower. I called my plumber who doesn't perform large jobs and gave me Tim's info. After finally locating my main sewage line (the previous owner of my house constructed an addition over it) it was decided that we would have to remove the toilet to get to it. It turned out that the roots of my hedges had gotten into my sewage line. Tim was professional and did a better job reinstalling my toilet. Highly recommend.
