CT Heat Pros is going through a bit of trouble recently. There's a lot of unhappy people out there. I'm one of them. $9000 and six months later and I still need to fork over a few grand to get my AC working. But that's a different story for another day...

The thing about CT Heat Pros is that it isn't actually an HVAC company - it's a marketing company. Their goal isn't to do quality heating and air conditioning work. Their goal is to earn your trust so that you'll more expediently part with your money.

The owner is aware that there have been some issues lately - mostly due to the fact that he caused them. His reply to one less-than-satisfied customer: we will work harder to gain everyones trust back.

And the BEST way to earn that trust back? Double down on the ""marketing"", forget about the customers and post a slew of fake five-star Google reviews. He copied reviews from other HVAC companies, changed the names and then had them posted on his Google business page. I've attached a series of images here which showcase *some* of them. (You can ignore the highlighted text; it is just a remnant of my searches.)

You'll see a CT Heat Pros review, and underneath it you'll see the legitimate review that was stolen.

That's what CT Heat Pros thinks of YOU! You're a smart consumer who does their due diligence and researches a business before you consider hiring them. You deserve to be manipulated!

(I've made several attempts to post a review ON Google's review platform but Google is ghosting my post for whatever reason.)

Here's where dishonesty becomes sociopathic:

He didn't just steal the review and post it as his own. He went a step further to REPLY to the review, to show gullible people trying to research HVAC companies that not only is his company GREAT at what they ""do"", but they're also just plain ol' decent people who take the extra time to connect with their customers. With CT Heat Pros, it's personal! You're not just a client! You're *family*.

""Ortega, thank you for being such a quality customer. Working with you was an honor. Your kindness to our crew during the project was second to none.
Thank you.""

""Wow! What service! They really *care* about their customers and I'm sure it reflects in their workmanship! I should hire them, too!"" - You, hopefully.

But ""Ortega"" doesn't actually exist. Not as a customer of CT Heat Pros, anyway. He's just there to extort your trust by misleading you into a false sense of confidence.

Justin, we'll be seeing you again soon!

I'm out over 20 grand because these clowns. I hired them to repair then replace my furnace in September and come December the zoning was still not completed. I ended up having to hire another company just to ensure I had proper heating through the winter. The town inspector came out and noted numerous safety concerns and other issues. Needless to say there will be further action taken. Do not use this company.

Great company for all my heating and ac needs. Was on time ready to go and no issues with the instal. All had uniforms on and clean with masks. Would recommend them for anyone looking for heat or ac needs.the

Beware! Found company to be dishonest & lacking in customer service. I asked for a quote to replace the original gauge & float device on my oil tank, it was in a position that was difficult. After verbally & physically showing the tech, GM & salesman what I wanted done, I rec'd a quote. Hired them to do the job I asked them to do, but after the tech spent 10 mins & said job was done, I checked it out. The new gauge was in a completely different position than requested & the old gauge & float is still in tank. (I didn't hire them to do it they way they did, my husband could have done the half butt fix) I was never advised that they were going to do it any other way than I requested. After multiple calls to both sales & GM (mostly having to leave messages, because they were out??) , I never did get an answer on why they thought it was ok to mislead me. I requested a refund on half of the cost, they refused, but they did offer me $20.00 off my next heater cleaning - as if I'd do business with them again. One good note, the young lady who answers the phone was helpful & god bless her she patiently listened to me rant about my dissatisfaction when the Brandon & Justin ignored my calls.

They are a rip off..they came out to fix my furnace..changed a flame sensor which is like a 20 part and hit the reset button and said it was fixed and left. Charged me 220 dollars and furnace shut down hours later. Left several messages and finally when I got a return phone call...told for 279 dollars someone could come out tomorrow. Told them I will find someone else. No pride in their work apparently. So now at 4 pm on a Saturday had to try and find someone else to come out which I did and paid an additional 200 dollars to fix what ct heat pros should have done in first place.

This company is a huge ripoff. They were here for no more than 25 minutes and replaced a $20 part for $250, which didn't fix the issue. Now they want $200 just to come back out to fix the problem they didn't fix to begin with.

If you're looking for a company to sell you a bill of goods and then eventually deliver a subpar result, after 4 months of promises and ""tomorrows"" then this is your guy! Justin is a liar and will Promise you the world to get your deposit, then good luck ever getting your AC job completed!
He will ""tomorrow"" you for weeks and months. Then eventually after you file a complaint with the BBB and the Dept of Consumer Protections, a guy named Henry who actually has an AC license (surprise! Justin doesn't have a license!) will show up and finish the job so he doesn't get his license pulled for allowing Justin to use it on permits!

Had them come clean our furnace and did a service without telling us cost beforehand. Replaced parts without telling us and we ended up spending 133$ more than what we were told it was going to cost. Not good customer service. Do not recommend.

Would not recommend. Much later arrival than told. Repair was done but immediately experienced issues. Were supposed to be back next morning...took off work...no arrival until late afternoon and had already contacted someone else to come out. Not confident in their service or organization.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! We started our process with CT Heat Pros in August. They booked 2 days to install ductless AC units. I took these days off of work. I called ahead to confirm I was all set for my install. They came day 1 and worked a half day and said not all my stuff was in but hopefully it would be in that day. Day 2 they were a no show. I called and my stuff was on back order. Had more work done in September still not done though. After many no shows we finally got our day booked where they actually showed up. When the electrician came to hook up the condensers he said our panel wasn't enough. This should have been caught while getting our initial quote. After a sub panel was put in they finished the units. 2 units failed and they had to come back within the week. They did not finish putting covers on the wires and tubes. They look HORRIBLE! I asked about the covers and was told they would let me know when they came in. Nothing!!! Finally we called again this week to see what was going on and we were booked again yesterday and again no show. Then again tonight another no show. I missed work many times, kids baseball games for these appointments and sat around waiting for them. The work was never completed and now I am having to buy covers to finish the job. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
