Alex and his team have done excellent work on large and small plumbing jobs for my home in La Crescenta. Some of the jobs he has done for me include replacing 3 old toilets with low water usage toilets, removing old water heaters and installing high efficiency tankless water heaters, running underground long distance water lines to my new garden, installing a sink and water lines in my garage, examining and redoing a whole house water filter and softener system, that had been incorrectly installed by a well known water filter company, and installing an under sink kitchen water filter system.
All of this work was done with excellent communication as to status, issues found, alternatives and creative solutions. Alex knows what plumbing equipment is best to install for long life and to save money on gas and water bills from his experience.
When I asked a couple of my close friends at work who they would recommend to do the above work they said use Alex at CSA Plumbing. Alex and his team are excellent and the cost was reasonable. My friends were right - I can now highly recommend Alex and his team for large and small plumbing jobs!

This company was assigned to me from my homeowners warranty. To be noted, this happened a year ago.

When I first requested a service, it took several weeks for them to contact me. With other services, such as air conditioning, I received a call and a visit within a week, with this company it took over two weeks to make an appointment after calling them and my homeowner warranty company.

When they arrived they were quite professional and offered me a quote. I was happy with their ability to answer all questions. They were also able to quickly find the problem and tell me I needed a new water heater. I did price comparisons and they were the best value, so I called them back to replace my water heater.

I decided to upgrade and get a tankless heater, and I also asked to pay for an inspection. We were quoted a price, and then after the first inspection we didn't pass. We were asked to pay more to fix things that should have been fixed, and this didn't sit right with me. I spoke with an inspector and found out they aren't allowed to do that after agreeing to a quote. We didn't pass another two times, and it was a frustrating process.

To add insult to injury, Alex was quite condescending and rude to me. I understood we were all frustrated about the inspection process, but I didn't appreciate being spoken to this way. I tasted my water and it didn't taste right. He tried to tell me it was the water filter that was only a couple of months old, but the tap water was also bad. I don't recall him asking me to run the water, but to fix the problem I needed to run it for several bath cycles.

I'm only giving two stars because the job was completed and in the beginning of the job, my concerns were addressed and answered. However the customer service was uncalled for.

They were contracted through my insurance. I was issued a work # and left a message on their phone (NO ONE ANSWERED). They never called back. I called 3 other times with no answer. They finally called 48 hrs later. The lady said she didn't think a garbage disposal was an emergency. I told her that it was not her decision to make.

I canceled the work order and had a handyman fix the problem.

We used our home warranty company again when our disposal was worn out and they put us together with CSA plumbing again and it was another great experience. Scheduling was simple. They called ahead to ask the model of the disposal I had so they would have a replacement on hand if necessary. They called and asked if arriving early was ok and they finished the job in about 20 minutes. Thanks again CSA plumbing.

They did not fix the problem and it was thru first American warranty ...it's still leaking cause plumber didn't know how to fix it and blamed it on the city
