Colleen S.Had a clogged drain system, possible slow sewer line, town jetted that and a latex glove ( hmm teen boys)Were friendly and explained everything to me,even showed me the snake from shower to main drain pushing paper out,and used big boy cleaning out to street,,probaly could use more of their own cleaning supplies, but I didn't mind given old rags and spray since I wasn't one cleaning it ,,felt price was reasonable, woul use again,,
Jarrett L.These guys are super dependable. I use them on hUndreds of our properties and they always get the job done. Great priced and the trust worthy!
Hired to clear a clogged drain. Immediately after plumber, Jeffrey Marcotte left, my wife's engagement ring was missing from bathroom. I called him and he would not pick up. Filed police report, ring not recovered. Beware.
Where other plumbers had struggled, Toby did a great job of identifying a problem with the sump pump and remedying that problem very quickly, so that the toilet and sink was able to drain effectively again! Many thanks!
Amelia G.This company came out as requested for a clogged main drain. The expected fee was $194.
After 2.5 hours of equal time spent talking about how much extra work they were doing and actually doing the work... they proposed a more elaborate technique (i.e. pushing the blockage with water). It worked.
They proposed a camera to view the line. It would cost $275 officially or $75 in cash. We passed.
The culprits were baby wipes & tree roots.
Then when it came time to pay we were given two options. 1) They could write it up as $800 officially with the company or 2) they could give us a ""deal"" if we paid each guy (there were two) $100 in cash + $194 in check to the company.
On top of that the basement was left a disgusting mess as the came with a trash bag only and were completely unprepared to manage water coming out of drain pipe!
They said this was normal and suggested we call First Response a mitigation company. Because if the dangers of disease from standing waste water and HEP B. This second company came right over after mentioning the guy's name from company 1 (which I never said out loud). They said it would cost $1500 to clean up an would go through our insurance company. We passed again.
This felt like racketeering to me...
