I list my kitchen sink replacement project on Angie's List, and Alex called to bid on the project.

Communications were good at beginning! However, on the service day, I needed to follow up with him on the arrival time, and found out that Alex misplaced my phone number and address.

Installation were completed all right, other then the incident that Alex broke the nut (under the sink) that need to hold the top panel (this is a brand new kitchen faucet set). But since the remaining nut still hold the panel, I let this one go.

I put paper napkins under the sink to make sure there were no leaks after the installation. Two days later, several napkins were dampened.

I called Alex and asked for help on the leaks. First, he did not recall the installation; second, he said he will call me back since he is working at the moment. But he never called back.

When I followed up and called him again, the phone never picked up and I was transferred to his voice mail. However, the voice mail system is ""full"" to take any message.

I am not very please with this services at all.

Unprofessional and pushy. Within the first 3 minutes on the phone, he's asking ""if we come are you ready to pay and start the work right away?"" Sure, if the price is right and the schedule works and the plumber seems to be on the level. After that, I arrange to be ready: clean out the space, arrange to be home from work, ready to turn off the gas and water... they don't show up. They don't call.

I had a root clog routered out 8 years ago and a front yard cleanout installation was recommended. I put it off to see how long I could go, and a month ago it happened again, so I thought I could repeat my luck and get another 8 years, ha. Alex cleared it with a snake but suggested the front cleanout also. Well, after just happening again, Uriel recommended the front cleanout because the clay drain was going to the street between 2 trees. I resisted based on knowing we could just grind the root out again and considered calling another rooter guy to do it. Now for the compliment: Uriel remained calm and described the merits of the front cleanout. He explained the procedure, assured me he had all the proper tech equipment/supplies/expertise/reputation, he'd send pictures of the progress since I live 80 miles away and am renting the house out. I axed for the website and saw online the same credentials he described. At that point, my attitude had changed, so I decided to go for it and approved the job. He's a good salesman, kept me well informed, acted professional, and maintained my confidence throughout the project. You go Uriel!!!

Thank you to Alex and Uriel for diagnosing and working on our weird plumbing issues (older home).

We had tried to snake a line from our washing machine to clear what we then thought was a clogged line. Turns out it was far more extensive. We managed to get to a good solution and get the job done in less than a week with minimal changes to our daily lives.

Even when the job was complete, Uriel came to confirm some further questions we had... on a Sunday!

Plumbers, you've got to stop quoting extremely high for toilet back-ups. You quoted us $375 then dropped to $250 when we said that was ridiculous. This type of customer handling is an issue in your industry which gives it a bad rap.

They came out and cleared my bathroom sink drain the same day I called. The only knock is that they did the unclog work before letting me know it was $175 for them to do a 5 minute job. But I paid the man and my drain is clear.
