Day 2 of moving into a new house, we had a surprising comedy of errors with our kitchen sink. What was thought to be a failing garbage disposal turned out to be grease build up in the Y pipe beneath the sink which we unfortunately learned was connected to the pipe in the laundry room after a disgusting explosion of smelly, rotten vegetable water flooded the laundry room floor. We were then referred to Carey by a family friend (also a plumber) and could not be more happy with Carey's service. He was quick to respond to the call of duty, super nice, and very professional. He fixed the issue very quickly and things have been in working order ever since! That was 3mos ago.

Carey is my go-to guy for all plumbing needs! If you're looking for a skilled, reliable plumber, he is it. He'll do it with personality and kindness too.

Well. I have never met Carey in person. Only over the phone as it was late on a Sat afternoon when we had a leak in our bathroom tub. He was kind enough to spare time over the phone to explain the parts we would need to buy and how to go about fixing our issue because he couldn't make it out until Monday. Luckily thanks to Carey's assistance and kindness we were able to fix the issues on our own. Next time someone is in need of a plumber I am going to definitely recommend Carey and Crusader Plumbing. Oh and of course for us too on our next plumbing issue! I have his number saved in my contacts. It's hard to find ppl like Carey or businesses like this nowadays. Thank you again Carey.

BEST PLUMBING COMPANY IN SAN FRANCISCO! Carey and his crew are the easiest, most professional plumbers we've worked with in years. Crusader did a large sewer line replacement job for us. This involved replacing the 20 foot clay pipe from our house to the street.

From the beginning of the project to the end, the whole thing went smooth. Crusader handled the City folks, got permits and everything got easily approved, no problem. Crusader showed up when they said they would with a full crew and kept the site very clean and safe. Carey is extremely good at communication and made sure we knew what was happening the whole time. He even showed us where there were roots growing into the pipes are causing clogs.

Overall, this whole experience was so positive that we've since done more plumbing with Crusader and have recommended them to our neighbors. If you're looking for the most reliable, high quality plumbing company on Yelp, give Crusader a call.

After my last plumber nor his recommended stand-in weren't available, and the plumber who installed my last water heater turned out to have retired (thanks COVID....), I plucked Carey/Crusader Plumbing off of NextDoor and found that the lost cat and loon parade had actually gotten one right!

Carey live-answered my call without the standard plumber voicemail tag, agreed to order a replacement for my prematurely failed water heater and and unrelated house water feed shutoff valve, and scheduled a time to do the install. He provided text updates about possible scheduling changes (asking permission rather than telling!) and showed up at the agreed time. He did the installs in a no-drama fashion, cleaned up the worksite, and charged the bottom end of the estimated price-range he quoted even though there were some minor tweaks that had to be made along the way.

Although it was irritating to have to replace a relatively young (7-1/2 year old) water heater, that wasn't Carey's fault and he made things fast and easy. What more can you ask from a plumber?
