In 2020 we moved and had to call a plumber for a toilet leak/replacement. We told them it was NOT an emergency, but they showed up that night and charged us triple what a plumber at our former house charged (same work, also after hours) 5 months previous, so we were wary.
In early 2021 we did a major kitchen and laundry renovation on our current home, CRoy was the plumber who worked with our contractor and did all new plumbing ( a slab ranch - no basement). Both the owner and his assistant were prompt, professional and neat.
October 2022 - bathroom renovations. Same excellent work (same assistant - always a good sign.) They will do what you request but will tell you what is best and what is necessary. (My husband requested some ""just in case"" additional piping for possible future remodeling that added cost.)
We were delighted to pay a very reasonable bill for such excellent and timely work.

No reply to several requests for an estimate. Then told he wasn't interested. Fairly simple spigot replacement and plumbing repair. Save time and try elswhere.

Chris Roy first helped me by showing up STAT to get water circulating through the baseboards again. Today, I called to get help with a drain that apparently froze. He offered a referral to a drain expert. Then, believing he was texting that person, he instead texts me by accident. In that text, he calls me a ""strange lady."" Really? Was my money strange too?

CROY Plumbing needs to learn to appreciate his clients and not gossip and diss them behind their backs.

For professionalism Chris Roy earns a 0.5 out of 4.0, meaning that when it comes to the standard of professionalism, he is no where near proficient in that department.

What do I mean by that? He'll charge you 4X what you earn per hour for his labor and feel it's OK to badmouth you on a referral to another tradesman.

But I'll let you form your own opinion.

Wonderful service! Owner showed up on a Saturday with very little notice for a blown hot water line! He was just coming to check out the problem and instead was able to fix it! Being a widow I appreciate the fast service!! Now I can get back to my normal life without worries!

Have used them twice. Show up when expected. Job done well. Everything cleaned up and pricing very fair. Had Chris reseat a toilet and install new bathroom faucet plus fix drain on bathtub. Highly recommend this company. They previously bailed my daughter out if a serious burst pipe issue after hours.

Used them for a complete bathroom renovation. They never pulled any permits and quit the job without returning our deposit. Now we have an unfinished bathroom and are scrambling to find someone to finish this work/

Chris and his assistant arrived at my house on time and installed a garbage disposal. They did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. He charged me the price that he quoted me and was one of the most reasonably priced.

My basement flooded and I found CRoy Plumbling & Heating on the internet and gave him a call to have a sump pump installed. Chris and his apprentice Max was able to make it out the same day. He told me how to get the water out over the phone so I went to the hardware stores and removed as much water as I could. When he showed up, he helped me clear out some additional water and installed a sump pump for me to keep my basement from flooding. They also dug up a trench for me to direct the discharge away from my house. He walked around my property to see if there were any other issues and told me a ton of information and gave me tips/advice on how to prevent future problems. He's a very knowledgeable guy. His pricing is very fair and his workmanship is very good. I really liked the outcome of my sump pump and drain. I cant believe they managed to do it all in one day. I highly recommend him and I plan on calling him for all future projects or issues.

I've had two great experiences with Chris. The first was a discounted job for some basic repairs (installation of new kitchen faucet, repair of leak in shower) during which he supervised an apprentice. It was a win-win-win purchase for all of us, so I recommend any online deals that you might find for him if you need some updates or repairs. The second time I called him was more of an emergency, when my hot water heater failed and flooded my basement. Chris was there in less than a day. His prices are reasonable, he is thorough, and he explains things well. Highly recommend!
