After some horrible plumbing nightmares, I decided to go to yelp and hired local plumbing service.
Most plumbers I hired from Craigslist and Thumbtack always tried to dig and look for more and more problems. Local plumbing service was honest and upfront about prices from the beginning. They showed no inclination to increase the scope of work or look for problems. They're trustworthy so you can send them directly to your property even if you are not present. They deal well with tenants and avoid sharing too many details; keep it professional. Their office can be a little finicky in term so scheduling and billing but overall they do a simple, quick job and are priced at market value.

This is the first time using this company and the service is outstanding. My hot water heater was not working. They got a service tech to my house within 4 hours of my call. He diagnosed the problem but said part had to be ordered and it was going to take 5 days. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a text 2 days later saying they rushed the part and he was on his way to complete the repair.

Tim came today to check our water heater. He ended up having to replace the whole thing. With one person down, be managed to get the job done in a timely fashion and did an excellent job. Excellent customer service from him and Tammy on the phone. Definitely will be using them again!

I rarely use Yelp unless it's necessary, but this is an update to my previous review- The second plumber they sent in a couple of weeks later have not only done a good job with replacing our toilet but have also explained what's going on with the first one that "served" us. We were also happy to pay extra (about $700) out of our own pocket just in order to get a new toilet installed properly (which was not covered by the home warranty but we had no problem with it). For the service as well as Only for the professional manner of the Second Plumber, I give him a satisfied 5-star rating.

Service Agent Tim and Office Agent (Vivian ?) have both been extremely helpful. I cannot say enough great things about the superb level of customer service I have had with them. Tim went way beyond the call of duty, and on more than one occasion after handling a replacement of a water heater. I had found them through my Warranty Company and then hired Local Plumbing Service to handle work beyond the coverage.

The wax seal on my toilet was leaking so I used Yelp to get quotes for the repairs. Within minutes four plumbers responded and Local Plumbing Service LLC was the first. I called and talked to Vivian and asked how soon someone could do the repair and the answer was within two hours! The price was fair so I told her to make it happen. Within an hour the owner and a David the plumber was at my front door. The removed the toilet, upgraded the seal and replaced the water hose. Lastly they caulked around the toilet for a professional job! David was efficient and proficient and I appreciated the great job they did. Highly recommended!

tim is special!! we met him as he was finishing resolving a major flood problem for our neighbor that he had successfully diagnosed to be the city's responsibility. i asked him if had a minute to look at two plumbing problems we had. he did that willingly, gave us a reasonable quote and was willing to adjust his schedule to do the work right away. we could not have been happier. professional; efficient; cost effective and a very nice person on top of that.

he shared his involvement with local community service and humanitarian projects. this is not the normal plumber we have met in the past.

for sure we have his number and will call him immediately when we have our next plumbing question or problem. i want to follow his career and assist in some of his humanitarian projects.

Jack went extra mile, literally, to check out our W/H that morning, short notice, took a look and let us know what recommend and how much. Cost was reasonable, IMO. Turned out was not water heater but a leaking 13 year old flex hose spraying water everywhere int he attic. David came out that day as promised and got us fixed up. Keeping these folks on our speed dial!

They had a quality control problem with the Flood Stop they provided for the hot water tank I purchased from them but they hung in there with me and came back repeatedly, all at no charge, until they got the system working. Finally they had to replace both the sensor and control box as the system was false alarming and shutting off my hot water for no reason. The 2 guys that did all the work were competent, helpful, friendly and enjoyable to work with. I appreciate their diligence and that they always had smiles on their faces.
