I have been using Crows plumbing service for over a decade now, and they have always been spectacular. Jack and Tory's team are a bunch of professionals, who always take the best care of their customers. They are the only plumber service i'd want to work with in Austin.

Fixed a tub faucet leak. The first plumbing service (out of 6) that completely fixed the leak in a timely manner. The other plumbing services either never returned my calls or emails, or dropped the ball and it still leaked.
Crow's Plumbing Service is the only plumbing service that I would highly recommend! Ask for Luke!!

Our 6 month old Rheem hot water heater (at a rental property in Pflugerville) stopped working. We checked, and the pilot would not stay lit. We called Rheem, and went though a couple simple tests, and they concluded (wrongly) that it was the pilot/thermocouple assembly. They didn't have any local techs, so told us to look at their site and pick one. A couple of them couldn't come out, but Crow's really tried to work us in. The coordinator/receptionist was wonderful. A tech made it out late afternoon. He said he would do a cursory assessment first. After that he (wrongly) confirmed it was the assembly that was sent and sent a bid of $425 and said it would take about 45 minutes. What? $550/hour? We called Rheem again, and they said they would only authorize up to $150 and the quote was unreasonable. So, we told them no. We watched a youtube and it was a 30 minute simple job. I've worked on a LOT of household appliances, including hot water heaters. I've replaced several thermocouples. There is a simple test to check the output (in millivolts) of the device. I checked. It was within spec, and so, we concluded it was the controller, not the thermocouple. Clearly, the tech didn't do any diagnostics. Our regular plumber came out the next day. He went ahead and replaced the thermocouple since we had the new one anyway (we would have, but it would have voided the warranty). That took him about 20 minutes. It didn't fix it. So, he did the correct repair. Cost? under $300 for all work (replace pilot/thermocouple, go and get correct part, then install that.) All told, he was about $100/hour as he went and got the part himself. I wrote the company to give them feedback and a head's up, and they never responded.

Hired these guys after trying to find someone to come out the day after thanksgiving which makes it pretty tough to find help. After first contact with them their dispatcher called me back a little bit later letting me know they would try to get someone out. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me trying to troubleshoot the issue. Super friendly and helpful dude. Then shortly after speaking with him one of their plumbers contacted me letting me know they were on their way. Two plumbers showed up, checked out the situation, and resolved it really quickly. They were both super professional and just all around friendly people. I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing done and will definitely consider them for all future work. Thanks!

I had a steady leak on my kitchen sink so I called Crow's Plumbing. Paul came right on time and did some diagnostics to locate the problem area. While here, he saw my hot water heater was 26 years old and on its last leg! Paul was very thorough and put together 6 different options for us to choose from. I could have just gotten the sink repaired, but when I saw the deal that included a brand new water heater I couldn't pass it up. Paul went to get Garrett and the two of them fixed my sink and installed a brand new water heater all in the same day. I was amazed!AND I was able to finance the whole thing through their partnership with Green Sky. Paul was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing work I may have. Thank you Paul & Garrett! You guys give plumbers a good name!!!

Thomas with Crows local plumbing performed the installation of our new faucet, sink, garbage disposal, and water osmosis filtration system, and was fantastic. He, including their dispatcher Taylor made scheduling an appointment very quick and easy.

During his initial appraisal of the job, Thomas was very good at explaining what needed to be done clearly, with confidence when setting expectations. He was friendly, and had a positive attitude.

Upon the actual installation, he made sure to show us any observations he had made, and kept us in the loop on any changes that needed happen. The new disposal he installed was apparently a lemon (Amazon's fault, not Crow's Plumbing's), and Thomas made sure we understood the problem, and provided guidance on getting it returned and replaced.

Best plumbing experience I've had to date, highly recommend these guys!

Had an issue with a clogged sewer line based on repair work done by our grinder pump specialist the day prior. Called and spoke with the dispatcher Mike who was very professional in setting expectations for a visit by the tech that same day. Tech showed up earlier than expected(he did call but had my phone # off by 1 digit so I never got the call), however, that was OK since again, he got there earlier than expected. I explained the issue in detail and had to get back in the house to attend to a work issue. Within 10 minutes I was done and the tech, Josh, was also done and came to walk me through his findings. Amazingly, the back-up issue from the day before seemed to resolve itself. We ran the pump several times and did not experience the same back-up issue I personally experienced and witnessed the day before. We discussed some potential home maintenance that I can do and some things to keep an eye on. Since there was no issue, there was no charge for the visit which was very refreshing to experience. I will definitely contact this vendor in the future if any issues and will not hesitate to recommend them to my network of neighbors and friends. From the two people I talked to from this company, they came across very competent. trustworthy and professional.

Had them install a kitchen faucet and 2 shower heads. Very easy to set up a service appt on line with quick appointments available and multiple time slot options. Very good about calling to let you know they are on the way and each time actually called to see if the could come early. Very responsive to the problems that arose with the faucet a few weeks later, that were not their fault, but rather an issue with the faucet itself. Quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me good advice as to the next steps. They offer you a menu of service options from the band aid to the platinum. Reasonable prices. Also had them fix a toilet that would not stop running following the city flushing out the water lines and sediment ended up in the toilet causing it to run constantly. Polite, professional, responsive, and would totally use again.

Local Plumbing had all the opportunity in the world to provide excellent customer service but instead "intentionally" choose to dropped the ball.
We were in a state of an emergency last on Sunday Aug 4th. All toilets in the house and shower (Non-sewer water backing up) were not functioning proper, eg clear water come from base of toilets etc. So having a home warranty contract membership (HWA) we contacted them immediately that evening to see if anyone was on called or available for 'after hours emergencies. After speaking with the on call answering service operator and promising someone would call us back shortly, but that call never came. My wife and I contacted HWA earlier monday and the vendor Josh Beck Pipe Dr 24/7 was scheduled to come out early Monday morning but after my wife reviewed their ratings and reviews I decided I did not want to risk placing my entire plumbing system in their care. So I had my claim reassigned to another one of the vendors in their network, yours truly--Local Plumbing selected because an initial positive experience on another job that Paul was assigned to (replaced garbage disposal) earlier this year. As there were no availabilities Monday their earliest one was a 9:00am slot on Tuesday morning Aug 6th 2019 and although the urgency of the matter remain intact, I accepted. My appointed was scheduled for 9:00am-9:15am (time window) so as they say-- one thing leads to another. Local Plumbing starts off downhill instead of gradually going downhill. Tues morning Trevino (Technician) arrives 9:45am-9:53am, so much for punctuality, but not terribly late, so I put that aside in my mind because maybe he had a valid reason, but he never mentioned it and neither do I, since we have bigger fish to fry; but there is still time for redemption. Now, Trevino appears to be a seemingly pleasant individual, just not a very proficient and organize individual. We have a problem already, Trevino can't start the job because he doesn't have the big machine (meaning snake/auger machine, he has the small one, what ever that mean? Isn't it standard you would use the same size for most residential? Trevino says he need to drive back to the shop and get it. I figured this should take 45-50 mins, but no can do, Trevino left shortly at 10:00am and didn't get back until well after 12:00pm. When my wife called to asked me how things were coming along, I told her that he had left and had not returned. My wife called him back as she had his cell number since her phone is the primary contact number. When she asked where was he and most longer was gonna be? He told her he needed to dropped some tools off to another technicians on another job. (really? postpone our emergency repair while you ran around to other job assignments)Trevino finally returned and as he begins to start snaking the cleanout drain (the city side) he said the snake was not functioning right. He said that someone had left the drain snake and failed to informed anyone. Well, after wrestle with it for a short time. Trevino tells me to: reassign the job to someone else because he didn't want to get hurt or hurt me. (I agree, an electric drain snake can be dangerous, but I could have removed myself from the equation by standing way back or going in the house) are you frigging kidding me!? It is after 1:00pm and I'm absolutely certain there will be no available vendor until sometime the next day or even later. Trevino loads up and drives off without so much as another word. I called Mike at the office and he apparently was already aware of the situation, but why does Mike not take the initiative to call and reach out to me first, to at least try to make amends somehow? Perhaps offer to reschedule or to show some concern or effort to remedy our situation. Mike said he was sorry but that phrase came across as a generic response because it was only after I contacted him and expressed my disapproval and provided negative feedback. When I recapped to him how the entire ordeal had gone, and emphasized to him that tools, machines and work related equipment should be inspected regularly to ensure they are functional, and any plumber "worth his salt" should know to have all necessary tools for the job before being dispatched. He never addressed the tardiness, the lack of preparation for the assignment, culminating in them not being able to complete job because of faulty equipment. Bottom line--they took us for granted at a time when we vouched for them with our warranty company, and was dire need to resolve our plumbing dilemma. The clincher was when we learned later on, that Trevino was attempting to snake the city side clean-out drain and was unaware of it, just as I was, but with him being the expert, he should have recognized this immediately. After calling Roto-Rooter technicians to come out, amazingly this is the first thing he noticed, just a short distance of 1.5ft from the city clean-out is the residential clean-out drain.
