If I could leave a ""negative"" star review I would. First, I love my home and my landlady. I truly have the best place in the world and have lived in Coronado for 45 years. I made a big foo-bar, and managed to clog my garbage disposal with Pasta Salad after a recent concert-in-the-Park. MY BAD! It was at the recommendation of my landlady that I call this outfit for repair, as she had known them for 20 years, and used their ""plumber"" Shawn. Shawn arrived, (while I was at work) did the necessary repair, and at the conclusion, I asked him to send me the bill, as since it was my fault, I wanted to pay it. WOW!!! When I asked for an itemized bill to be sent to me, he FLIPPED OUT. He told me in no uncertain terms that he would not send a bill, that the fee was $200. I found this very strange - but it gets better... I received a text message from this nasty man telling me ""You are not my customer. Your landlady is my customer. NEVER contact me again"". I felt the fee was high for a snake job, and since he wouldn't provide a bill, I let my landlady know that the bill was coming to her, and to please forward it to me so I could take care of it. The bill was still $200. It was dated 8-27-19. On the evening of 9-19-19, I received a text that this surly beast of an individual had contacted her, a friend he had known and worked for for 20 years, and he was going to take us BOTH to collections if he was not paid immediately. Atrocious. I am still in shock. I am a little freaked out by this man, his behavior, his ""gouging"" people with outlandish fees, and then yelling at them and threatening them. Please think twice before using this ""service"". For me, it was a very unsettling, expensive, embarrassing, and disturbing experience!

He is an Really Good plumber.... Hes the BEST Ive entoured in all my years. I have been using his services for Years. Very nice man. He is very promp and prices are reasonable. I would reccomend him to Everyone. My husband just recently passed away . I had a toilet Issue , he came as soon as he could. Price was very reasonable especially for a last minute call.

Drive/owner of this company cut us off at an intersection/red light and failed to signal twice almost causing an accident all 3 times. I called the number on the van to report him but he's the one that answered the phone. When I told him what happened he yelled ""F**k YOU"" and hung up on me. I'd hate to have a plumbing problem and have this guy show up to fix it. Seems like a real charmer! Apparently I'm not the first person to call the number on the van due to poor driving and receive an offensive reply!

In the last five years. I have only been moved to write a review for two companies. Today I was driving in Santee and the driver for Crown Plumbing was tailgating me and I called their office to see if I could speak with a manager. The man that answered the phone said he was the manager and owner. I let him know my concern and his response was ""bull@*it"". He repeated that several more times. Then he notified me that he was the owner AND driver and that he wasn't tailgating anyone. I let him know I was shocked by his response, lack of concern and unprofessionalism. When I told him I would tell others not to use his company, his response was ""good - you do that"". I guess business must be really good that you can afford to be so nasty. Save yourself some time and use a company that has more than one employee (Owner, manager, driver) that might actually give a crap.

This Guy will rip you off if you are Elderly or a Woman..... Period, He does not warranty his Work at all.....

So here is the Story So decide for your Self....... But I will forewarn you. You are wasting your time reading reviews ..... Move on...

My Wife is a Care giver for a Woman in her 90's that has Alzheimers at the Coronado Shores..... About 6 Months ago her Kitchen Faucet was Broken So my Wife called them off a Recommendation. Before doing this My Wife Purchased a Kitchen Faucet from Costco for $100, the Guy from Crown Plumbing came out and told my Wife that the Faucet that she Bought at Costco was not of any good Quality and that he recommended a Faucet that he Would sell her. My Wife agreed and returned the one she purchased to Costco. The Faucet this Guy recommended was a Moen.

So he Installed His recommended faucet at a Cost of $380 (Cost of this same exact faucet else where is $175) + $180.00 in Labor.

The other day my wife notices that this Faucet was leaking so she called the People at Crown City plumbing o Come take a Look at it. They said it would be $75 + Labor to Come out and Find the Problem..... My wife did not argue as she expected him to Come out realize that it was a Faucet that was Recently Purchased by them and cover it, Plus she was Worried that they would not come if she complained too much.....

Today Crown Plumbing came out and They looked at the Faucet, they Said oh it's Broke, My Wife then presented her Receipt for the Repair a Few Months ago and Said, we Recently Bought it from your company and you to repair it, he said NO. He Told my wife if she wanted it repaired that she needed to Call Moen and Have them Send her a New Faucet and He would Come Back And Charge another $75 Trip Charge + Labor to Install it again, He also Said it would be $75 to Come out today. His Temporary repair was Place a Plastic Bag with tape around the Faucet to stop the Leaking under the Cabinet, This Cabinet now need the Bottom of it Replaced too.

So as of Now we Have Paid them $635 - And Still don't have a working Kitchen Faucet (Based on the Damage to the Cabinet it probably has been leaking since it was replaced a Few Months ago)

We Called Moen today and they are Replacing, they Even said they Would mail it Overnight because of the Plumber Situation..... So At least Moen stood by it's Product

Point is He Sold my Wife a Faucet for more than Double it's Retail Value, It Broke within a Short time and Crown Plumbing doesn't care.

I need you to understand 1 More thing, I manage a 30 Unit Apartment Complex and the Plumber I use for it would Never have Treated us like this, they would have Came out, saw that it was a defective Faucet, they would have replaced it and Filed for the Replacement with Moen directly (this is why they charge so Much) - And they would have not Charged me anything extra for it

I have never had their services but I just want to say... One of their drivers nearly ran me off the road and when I called to complain they said I need to watch the blinkers. Its kind of hard to see blinkers when you are right next to a vehicle. They are very rude and careless. They also hung up on me I honestly would not request any services from them.

Great service! Sean the plumber was prompt and friendly and got the job done quickly. He did a great job! He also followed up to check on the leak.

Up there with the top worst plumbers ever. Charged me $80 for 15 minutes of service. When he left I found the leak was still there. Called to tell him and he said he had fixed it so he would come back and charge me for another service. This was not 5 minutes after he had left and supposedly fixed the leak. Unbelievable! Do not call this dishonest plumber unless you have money to waste.
