We had our re-pipe project originally scheduled on Mon Dec 9th but we were contacted on Thursday Dec 5th that we were going to be pushed back until Dec 23rd. When I asked how long the project was going to take, they couldn't give a clear answer due to the holiday and not knowing if the city would come out for an inspection until January. Luckily they called us the following Mon Dec 16th and asked if they could start the project tomorrow Tues Dec 17th. We were originally told it would be a 4 day project (2 days piping, 1 day inspecting, 1 day patching), so when we accepted the Dec 17th start date we were told we were still on track to finish Fri Dec 20th.
At the end of the 2nd day they informed us the piping would require 1 more day. I was okay with that as long as it meant the work was high quality- we definitely didn't want a rushed job or to not pass inspection. We were told there was a good chance we could have the inspection first thing Friday morning and then the patchers could start immediately after the same day. Unfortunately the city inspector didn't come until 1:30 PM on Friday and of course by then it was too late to start the patching. They informed us that no one works on weekends but someone would be out Monday Dec 23rd to finish the patching for us. On Monday I went over to the house to unlock the side door. They informed us they had a morning project in West Sacramento but would be to our house in the afternoon to finish the patching. I stopped by the house at 4:30 PM to check on the progress but I got there and realized no one had been there all day. I immediately called the office but their response was that they called my cell phone twice and the person who had told them they had the wrong number (the same phone number they had been calling me on this entire time). Our furniture/floors were still covered in plastic with holes in our walls. They promised us they would be there first thing in the morning on Xmas Eve to patch our walls. They worked a half day to then inform us that patching is more than a 1 day job and there was no way they could have finished it on Xmas Eve anyway. This was frustrating because it had never been communicated to us that the patching was going to take 2 days. On Xmas Day, no one came. But on Dec 26th, they were at our house again to finish. I had to drive home on my lunch to let the guy know I had found some dents in the walls and the guest bathroom shower plate was loose. When I got home that night, I noticed the same things were still there. They reported to my fiancé that they needed one more day (so 3 days total) to finish the patching, and came again on Fri Dec 27th. When I got home from work Friday night, I noticed that there was still a ladder, shopvac, and other random tools inside and on the side yard of our house. The plastic and paper coverings were gone. I called the office to leave a voice mail that night, but had to call the office the following Monday because no one returned my call. The office confirmed that the project was done but that the worker had left his stuff, so I informed her that there was damage to our house and there would need to be a walk through with the owner or manager. She said with the holiday that no one could come out until Thurs Jan 2nd.
***I'm updating this review from 1 star to 3 stars in response to how they resolved the issue. As disappointed as we were, Rob came out on January 2nd and worked on our house for about 6 hours until 9:30 PM. He was able to fix all of the issues (except one that he said he would return to fix) and schedule a time for someone to re-do the texture the following week. He also gave us a free work order for any future house calls. He informed me that the individual that they deemed responsible for all of these issues (damage to property and incomplete/improper texturizing) is no longer with the company. I don't think the poor workmanship represents Crown Plumbing as a whole but I would hope they continue to practice quality control with their employees so that issues like this don't affect future customers. I also hope they give future customers more realistic timelines for projects, especially around the holidays. Rob is very hard-working and takes pride in the quality of his work. We appreciate his sympathy for our situation.***

Crown did a great job removing the clog but more importantly, the technician educated me about the actual plumbing and "" what not to do"" with a garbage disposal. I've had 11 houses, with multiple clogs, no one ever took the time to explain the physics of it. Thank you Crown

Our toilets were backing up causing the showers to retain water. It was too much for me to deal with, John from Crown pluming came out and checked all my pipes they had cleared out by this time. Turns out it was the underground drainage that was the problem. Which is the county's issue not mine. Thanks to John I called the county and they came right out. Everything turned out great.
John was helpful and knew exactly what I needed.

Thanks so much

Posting for my father, the customer, who is currently fixing our ducts.
The estimator told us we would have water by the end of the day, but what was supposed to be a 2-day job turned into 5 days, with holes still in our walls over the weekend until the following Monday. We had our water back on with one toilet, one shower and the kitchen sink on the third day (it's a two bathroom house); if we had been quoted the amount of time appropriately, we could have made arrangements for everyone living here to be elsewhere with running water.
Second, upon inspection of completed work, a 10 year old found a leak shooting out of a pipe after it has already been inspected.
Third, despite numerous reminders and warnings of caution to try and avoid the air ducts in the attic and then requests to put them back where they originally were, neither were done. We're currently having to replace two flex duct tubes because after the cold weather set in, we realized two out of four bedrooms weren't receiving heat... no one since the pipe replacement workers have been up there, and the flex ducts leading to those two rooms are completely severed; we've been heating our attic instead of the bedrooms due to sloppy work and destruction of our air system parts.
Thankfully, pipe replacements shouldn't happen more than once or twice in a lifetime. I would never refer someone to them.

Richard just came out to my house to fix some faucets that were low in pressure. Not only did he fix the problem, he was kind patient and really funny too! He was in and out in no tome, and even fixed the pressure in one of my showers as well. This was by far one of the best maintenance experiences I've had. Thank you!

Just bought and house and moved on Saturday when last night's normal routine lead to a full house backup with water clearly flowing in the INCORRECT direction! An after hours urgent request through my home warranty company resulted in an appointment being scheduled in less than 12hrs. While my dealings with the HW company was sub-par, the service provided by Crown Plumbing was excellent. Exceptional shoutout to my tech, Richard Harris, for being a fantastic shining moment in this crappy (pun intended) situation - you're awesome and saved the day!! I'm certainly saving his business card and Crown Plumbing will be my go to for future plumbing needs for sure!

We were initially referred to Crown Plumbing by our home warranty company (AHS). After a horrible experience with the 1st 2 companies they sent out to our home, I had absolutely lost all faith in Plumbers/Plumbing Companies. Then came Richard Harris from Crown Plumbing- he was an absolute God-send! Richard was professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable & efficient! He was quick to trouble shoot & get to the root of our plumbing issues (we had several issues going on at the time).
I would definitely pay out of pocket to hire (him) them in the future! I highly recommend Crown Plumbing & will definitely call them (& request Richard) the next time I need a plumber!

OMG, just had the best plumbing experience ever! Richard Harris from Crown Plumbing in Carmichael saves the day. We noticed a ceiling leak in our kitchen and called our home warranty company immediately. The first plumber came out and said he could not fix the leak and said he was not experienced enough with our ""Toto"" toilet and recommended Crown Plumbing. We never heard another word from the home warranty folks so my husband called them and we lucked out with Richard. He was here on time as promised, he was super knowledgeable and he fixed the leak. No more worrying about opening up our ceiling and looking for a broken pipe. Richard was patient with our sometimes annoying rescue poodle as the poodle wanted to see what was going on constantly. I highly recommend Crown Plumbing and specifically Richard for all your plumbing needs. We will definitely be calling him back when our 30 year old water heater needs replacing.
