Never, ever use them. The reason I called them back was because of their faulty work to begin with. Luckily I had a unfinished basement or a lot would have be ruined. I can provide pictures of the mess that they left after doing their work. I called to complain, and the phone receptionist Kathy was short, defensive, and showed little willingness to help. Incredibly unprofessional.

Fairly professional, as another reviewer put it, is giving them higher marks than I would.
Would you say using your bathroom without asking is professional? I wouldn't. Leaving boxes and old parts at your house to pick up after them is not professional either. If the work was done properly I could overlook some of these issues, but it is not. Totally sloppy job just slapped together. Here are some examples: (1) when fitting parts outside, nothing was properly sealed so that mice find their way into the house, (2) when you have to replace an appliance and find out that things were totally rigged to get it to work in the first place (could this be why the appliance broke in a short period of time?), (3) sell you a warranty but then won't follow the proper procedures so that you get reimbursed and also make you do all the paperwork even though the insurance company says they need it from the person performing the work, (4) relating to previous item, upcharge you on parts, so much that the insurance company you have the warranty with cannot believe the amount they are charging (and by the way, Crow River wouldn't provide us with the invoice to get our money back either). The owner of this company does a sloppy job and is dishonest --that's the bottom line.

Ron and his son Matt replaced a boiler in our home in Saint Paul, MN. Ron is excellent to deal with. Ron is very easy to communicate with, very honest (straight shooter), and Ron was creative in his approach that ended up being a great solution to a complicated five zone system. I quoted our boiler replacement with five different companies. Ron was competitive, not the least expensive, but met all important marks on our scorecard. I would recommend Ron to anyone who has a costly boiler replacement. Ron and his son Matt are a refreshing team of professionals and I give them a thumbs up! Nice job! We are warm and happy.

Ron and his son are fairly unprofessional and take no responsibility for their workmanship. They broke an appliance of mine that they were installing and then denied it, drilled a hole through the back of the WRONG cabinet in my kitchen and Ron's reply was ""oh"" when I pointed it out to him - not even an apology. He also installed my dishwasher, which was uneven, I asked him to come back and fix it, and his solution was to break the plastic panel off the bottom of the dishwasher. The smaller issues are they do not clean up after themselves, and more than once I had boot- prints on my carpet and had to haul out to the garbage their boxes and trash. Communication is severely lacking. Never would I use him again.
