Never used these people. They took my filter off my pump system and year ago in which i paid for the filter and i never received a new one. Do no ever use these people. Do you used them to even change your tolid paper

Our Septic Pump went out and our home Warranty company sent Crouse. They claimed that the 3/4 HP pump to replace it was $7,999.99. Then harnesses and floats etc..., but they were such great folks they were going to wave the labor since they new this was painful. After they left on Saturday, planning to order the pump first thing Monday, panic ended and questions and anger took over. The new engine in my truck, plus catalytic converters was only $10,200. How is a less than 1 horsepower pump almost as much? Started looking up online, and found the pumps they said they were going to order for between $600 and $1150 depending on make and such. So I called him on it, and he produced the most childish invoice showing what they planned to order, yet their part number did not even match to a pump, it was to something totally different. He agreed he would cancel it all, and we would part ways, so I cancelled the check. Good thing, because the scam artist tried to cash it a day latter. I ended up getting the whole job done for $1,948.75. Far cry from the $$8,892.00 total they said they were going to total charge me. And he kept warning me he could not test my leach field until the pump was replaced. I would bet you a dollar once the pump was replaced he would conveniently find I needed a new leach field. Also, the warranty company would not touch the claim because of the way he wrote it up. They have accepted the new claim with legitimate part prices and such. Stay away from Crouse and their, in my opinion, crooked bunch of goat ropers!!

SCAM ALERT - This company was contracted through our home warranty company. We had a small leak from a pipe in the wall. They opened up the wall and told us that we had to evacuate the house because of ""deadly"" mold from visually looking at it. He said he would have to remove part of the concrete slab to fully remove the mold from our house. He told us it was SC law to contact a mold specialist to remove. (This is not true) He called and had someone at our house in a few hours. Turns out this ""mold removal specialist"" is really his wife. We got a 2nd opinion and there is not only no mold but was a quick pipe replacement job that was fixed in less than an hour by another professional. Him and his wife (3 reasons environmental) are running a SCAM.

WORTH THE READ! CON-ARTIST ALERT...
Is their a half star?
I worked for this company for a VERY SHORT time. The boss man Kelly super UNPROFESSIONAL. I got wrongly fired because his wife lost her employee with her company '3 reasons' in the same building as crouse and he wanted me to go work for her and clean houses when i am a receptionist for 8.50 I kindly and professional told him this was not the position i was hired for and i wouldn't do it for anything less than 10$ hour which is cheap! but he told me to pack my things. and I ran straight out the door. The girl previously he hired quit on the spot due to Kelly fist fighting his son in the office. Kelly has also threw a phone at one of the receptionist quite a few times.
Very hostile work environment. Everyone else their is professional but the boss is not everyone walks on egg shells.
RECOMMEND KNOWING a little about the service you need fixed so Kelly doesn't overcharge you for his benefits.

These outfit is a bunch of cowboys!! These jokers replaced two hot water heaters in our home. In doing so they left tools laying out in the yard, left the cover off our water cut off valve, they did not remove any of the paper they had put down to cover the carpet, and lastly, and most importantly, did not install drip pans (which is required by Meckelenburg County code) underneath either of the new units. So, I called them back out, to put pans underneath to comply with code and they told me that because the units were in a crawlspace that they did not need pans. I told them that I wanted the pans and they charged me an additional $500. When they returned to put the new pans under the units, only one of the units was working. I have now had to call out another plumber and an electrician to have the mess that these clowns mad of it to fix the problem. And to top it all off, in addition to the extra $500 for the pans, they were $500 over their original quote. Use this company at your own peril.
