Crouch Plumbing was started by Nubbin Crouch in 1967. Over the years, his father Mitch, brother Del Ray, and his children Roy, Randy, and Rita have all played roles in the company. In 1977, after completing his studies at the Denver Institute of Technology, Roy returned to Artesia to enhance the business with HVAC offerings. The company was incorporated in 1997 as Crouch Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., with Roy Crouch serving as President. In 2007, Roy and Dianna Crouch finalized the purchase of the business. Their son KC also gained experience working for the company during his college breaks. Four generations of the Crouch family have worked at Crouch Plumbing.

The ownership of Crouch Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. lies with Roy and Dianna Crouch. Roy began working for his father while in high school. Following his graduation from the Denver Institute of Technology, he led the HVAC service side of the business. In 1997, he took on the positions of President and stockholder. The acquisition of the business was finalized by him in 2007. Roy enjoys solving problems to assist others. The challenges of the construction industry are something he enjoys. Roy holds a contractor's license, and Crouch P.H.A.C., Inc. often provides HVAC and plumbing services as a subcontractor for commercial construction and new housing in Eddy County.
