One day I placed a load of laundry in the washing machine and jumped in the shower. I noticed that the water was not draining and then I began to hear my toilet gurgling. I quickly wiped off and went into the guest bathroom. I began to slip on the floor in the hallway because it was covered with water. Within a few minutes my bathroom floor, hallway and living room were also covered with water. I quickly called a plumber and my insurance company. My insurance company was fantastic but unfortunately the damage on the floor was already done. I had to move all of the contents in my home into my garage and move out of my home for a few months while all of the repairs were completed.
This gurgling repeated again and again because the real problem was not resolved by the first plumber. After the first incident, I was able to turn off the water so that the water did not get all over the floor but was always afraid that I would have another flood. I then contacted CrossWay Plumbing and they realized that it was the main sewer line that connects to the city sewer system. Within a few hours they had the trench dug, line repaired and trench filled in. I have not had any trouble at all since then. I would highly recommend CrossWay Plumbling because they are reliable, knowledgeable and conscientious.
